Great job, by the Archer Epler Musketeers. Very creative, showing tribute to some of the top senior drum and bugle Corps. First time I saw, the Musketeers in competition, I believe around 1956, when they played music from The King and I, they were using all brass bugles at the time. Former member of the Long Island sunrises, 1964 through 1968, former member of the Floyd Bennett golden eagles from Brooklyn New York , 1960 and 1961, and former member of, olph Ridge men, also from Brooklyn New York, 1956 through 1959. Today is September 27th 2022. Thank you for this post brings back great memories.
Ray Fallon answers many of the questions I had about this show and the Archie members who performed in it. However, who were the drum majors and who was wearing the Reilly uniforms? This is a stellar perfomance of one hell of a repertoire. I was a member of Archer-Epler in 1963. Jimmy Cossetti, Danny Fitzpatrick, Mike Snow, Joe Schmidts were men I had marched with. I was in the Reilly Raiders Alumni Corps with Merry and her mom. This music is a salute to many of the great corps of the drum corps activity. I salute Ray Fallon for putting this all together.
At 7:15, the late great Nick Rizzi, the original "Stripper" when the Baltimore Yankee Rebels did that production in 1963. One of drum corps' early showmen.
At 8:35 the unforgettable and just recently passed on to the final retreat, Bill "Weedies" Wiedman, who spent most of a lifetime with Archie. Great guy, classic Musketeer.
at 8 minutes, the great Joe Schmidts. Soprano with USMC D&B corps, Yankee Rebels, Archie's competitive return to the field, and the Reilly Raiders. Great player, great drum corps player, great guy.
At 6 minutes, that's the late great Jim "Guido" Cossetti - great player, great guy, great friend, great Musketeer (I know that sounds corny, but you had to be there). Miss him all the time.
At 7:45 it's the inimitable Danny Fitzpatrick, who, thank God is still with us. One of the greatest drum corps french horn players ever, including multiple DCA I&E championships.

Wow! I'm in there, 29 years ago! Some nice close-ups of our departed friends. Thanks. Chuck Smith
wow the drumline sounds very good!
At 6:40 the late great Mike Snow. Hell of a mellophone player - won DCA I&E on soprano (trumpet) that year.
My grandfather!!! Thank you so much …

the only time ever a guy in a Hurcs uniform played the sop solo tag to Reilly's Irish Eyes
