As I was strolling for information online this evening, I found write ups on fifteen of the best college bands in the United States in June 2024, rated by College Transitions, LLC. This organization has been around for about a decade, according to what I read. College Transitions is a team of consultants, former admissions officers, writing coaches and researchers who have committed to guiding students and families to help (the students) find the right college and resources that fit their needs. It was pleasing to find out that Southern University Human Jukebox (Baton Rouge, LA) was listed as one of the Best Fifteen College Bands in the United States (in 2024). However, we all know that there are many great college bands out there. If you get a chance, please look this information up online. Congratulations, Southern University Human Jukebox!!!!! So proud of you!💙💛
I love this performance I love that first song that you are played.Love is a key that (bass drum part be hitting) on the break down part but my favorite part was bringing out the alumni dancing doll from the 80-2024 -2025 dancing doll even thoe it was one she was little behind but she cleaned it up but thay was nice then i love the block ɓand performance ❤❤❤❤❤❤go southern..💙💛💙💛southern always had a goodfield show I. Remember the first time on my saw southern university in 1997 I seen southern going against grambling swac and feel in love with sourthern since then..💙💛💙💛 And that turn off the lights was cool.Even though he started singing low at the beginning, but he killed it At the end and I like it when they turn the lights off lol (he sung it soo good i started unplugging my light lol😂😂😂😂but goooo southern 💙💛💙💛
Other bands boast about having Oceans of Soul or taking their BOOM on tour, but when it hits, all you get is a muffled ripple. Meanwhile, the HUMAN JUKEBOX’S thunder has them scrambling to fine-tune their MARCHING MACHINES just to keep up. 🎺🥁🎶🎵
I really like seeing the white overlays...super throwback! Gotta make sure those kids are wearing the uniforms properly, particularly the pants. They should hit at the 3rd button of the spats, not covering the spats.
New uniforms.. nice. The show kinda lacked energy or maybe it was predictable. Still my number one band though. Maybe next homecoming more excitement and thought into it. Make a image and make it come alive.. I’m still waiting for Ohio St band to be topped with something better than their MJ moon walking.. lol
Soooo…I understand showing views from the air…but none of the drill was shown from the stands. Like…you couldn’t really get into or feel the drill because the view from the sky is NOT engaging. Simply absurd.
