    I’ve always been a cbr guy in the past. I bought my first Gixxer, a 2021 600 anniversary edition. It’s completely unlocked and tuned, 113 hp. It’s now mainly my track bike and it’s awesome. Very impressed, won’t have anything else.

    Hell yes it is-- ignore the reviews knocking it as dated from either paid motojournalists pushing BMW, Aprilia and Ducati til the end of time or people that can't actually ride a sport bike.
    You don't get ABS, trac control or a fancy dash... check that off the list.
    You do get: incredibly balanced bike with flawless handling good price, indestructible reliability, comfortable for a supersport, good power band that's streetable and thank you for listing the racing success in the stock series for all of the people harping about tech.
    Your MT09 Sp will get obliterated by a Gixxer600 on track and twisty, as will your RS600.

      @AK Cycles eventually. The market has changed. 600's are my favorite and suit my riding needs as well as my pocket book. It was tough for me to track down my current bikes due to a shortage in production. Hopefully Suzuki and Honda keep the 600 in their line up in the coming years. I think that, inevitably, these bikes will go away in the US as they will become impossible to import due to emissions regulations and growing pressure for manufacturers to develop ev technology if they want to continue to do business in the US.

    I've owned a 2011gsxr600 and 2015gsxr750. Both are awesome! Fun fun fun!
    I'd take trips to the mountains (San Francisco to Tahoe) with the 600 and noticed power loss at higher elevations so I bought the 750. Still a bit of power loss but not nearly as bad....

  • @SquireSCA
    @SquireSCA 11 місяців тому

    Its a good bike, but Suzuki has completely fallen behind the times with their 600 and 750. It's basically the same bike for almost a decade and a half. Power is the same, no ABS, no traction control, outdated dash, no quickshift or autoblip... And in 2023, there really is no excuse for that... They do well in races, but as far as streetbike form, its the slowest 600 out there...
    They are fun and reliable, but after my first 20 or so bikes having no electronics and then starting to use them on my last dozen or so bikes, I would never even consider going back.
    Electronics make it faster AND safer, so there is really no excuse not to have them, other than they just don't want to invest the money...
