Cheapest easiest way to paint calipers

i thought the calipers would be the easiest cheapest thing to do to my car. Didn’t want to take off the caliper or drop a rack on the supplies. I got the basic things i needed, and cleaned it correctly, but my primer broke and i didn’t have clear coat.
