Hey, Thank You SO MUCH, this was a GREAT VIDEO to teach an amateur how to fix these. I have a company car i hit the bumper with a snow blower and put a big scratch in the base coat. I don’t have the $ for a body shop paint repair but this worked perfectly, well not perfectly but believe me, no one can notice it!! Great Video, keep up the good work. Thumbs up for sure!!
Even though the license plates were different, it is the same car. I look at the dark spot and it still shows very slightly. Still a great job! I think the reason for the change of plates is because this is a trade in car. And as a dealer, he was fixing the paint before putting in the dealer plate.
Thank you for this video!! Someone did a hit and run on my car on this exact same spot and I can’t afford to send it to a shop to get fixed 🥲🥲 This was incredibly helpful and informative. Much love and gratitude!!
Use a little piece of paint stick wrapped with a strip of 2000 grit. Then 3000 grit. The block of wood should be about 3/4" x1 inch. Cut a strip 1 inch wide and 6" long. Use a water bottle with a squirter to keep the sand paper wet. A little dish soap( 5or 6 drops shaken up) in the water makes it slide better. If you had to put several coats of color then clear. I would recommend 1500 grit to start with. This whole process works great on hood chips too.

More often than not, by the time you have to use a paint repair kit, the cars paint has changed in the elements so the touch up paint is a different shade and never really blends.
Great video, hope this works on my red car. I noticed that this whole process with the 4-in-1 pen was used on actual scratches where chunks of paint is missing. I also have scratches on my car where it wasn't a huge chunk, simply just scratches. Can this process and the pen be used lightly on those small scratches? Or is this process/pen only recommended for actual scratches with chunks of paint missing as in this video?

Great catch. Much Respect to those with eyes to see and ears to hear. Wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t really speak with an accent either 😁😉
You have very steady hands, mine shake a little when doing that delicate work.
Thank for the video great repair job done. ! Where can I buy the repair kit ??
Amazon.
Wow, that great, that's outstanding, that's good work. Thanks for all the information.👌👍👍👍
More often than not, by the time you have to use a paint repair kit, the cars paint has changed in the elements so the touch up paint is a different shade and never really blends.
That's a great point. You'd probably have to take your car to a place that can sell you a custom matched paint can.
I think the point is it matches better than black.
@@macfady2181 exactly
I bought mine from the dealership same color andit doesnt blend
Sheeshhhh it’s like magic!!! Good work!
HEY YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSS
Great video, hope this works on my red car. I noticed that this whole process with the 4-in-1 pen was used on actual scratches where chunks of paint is missing. I also have scratches on my car where it wasn't a huge chunk, simply just scratches. Can this process and the pen be used lightly on those small scratches? Or is this process/pen only recommended for actual scratches with chunks of paint missing as in this video?
That was excellent and very helpful in every way! Thank you so much for sharing this with us 👍🇬🇧
He’s lying to all his subscribers!!! Check out the license plate, California plate on the car with the scratch & the finished car has an Oklahoma plate, what a pos!!!
@@Carrierdlr1 Are you 100% sure that the plate wasn’t changed during this process? Or, are you just the kind of pos that jumps to conclusions?
@@Carrierdlr1 I have done repairs like this before. This is 100% legit. If you think he is lying you must have no clue about paint work.
Super vlog,smirghel is 2500? I dont understend

Hi, thank you very much for the video tutorial. Repair looks amazing…
I would like to ask you one question here related to a little different area scratched in car.
It’s the door inside the car.
Do you know any products on market that can fix such one or any tutorials how to make those disappear …?
Thank you 🙏
The video is almost perfect except that the plate number of the vehicle in the early part of the video is different from the last portion. Lol
It’s a dealer plate used at the end because he clearly works for a dealership and the original CA license was expired.
Wow Noel you ruined my hopes of fixing a scuff mark on my Mustang 😓
Same car though the touch-up is still in the area he was working and like the other comment said they replaced the original plate with a dealer plate.
You can guys make good video. You thanks so much. Save this guy much money!
Great videos very helpful, amazing, very talented guys , обаче нямали щъркели в тая Америка че носите мартениците почти във всеки ваш клип :)
Could you use this same method to repair peeling clear coat?
How did the license plate switch from a California plate to an Oklahoma plate?
Used dealer plate
Does that matter. I swear y’all be focused on the wrong things
Scratch repair cream you used and buffered doesn’t that wash off after rain and time then leaving the paint foggy ?
This was extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing.
great vid, did you match the paint or is it a generic red? thanks
Great video and great repair1 Thank you. I will need to try something like this soon!
That was a awesome video thank you so much for the step-by-step. I have one question for you where can I find that exact lint that u usedto buy the touch up paint?
Idk about this one....2 different cars. You first started with California plates and later on Oklahoma.....Are you sure you were able to fix this?
He just put on his dealer plates. Still same car. Decal still same, and also at end you can still see the repair. It looks much, much better, but it is still clearly there. Legit.
Thanks for the video, it is great and simple. Question: will the shine go away after you wash your car in that area that you sanded? thanks
No it wont
Good luck on a metallic or a pearl white color.
Why would it be any different. I'm not too knowledgeable but I know my car has metallic paint
@@saleemkimani898 It will never blend in. It will look better from a distance thought. The way the do this in this video is a "looks good from my house" type of approach.
something to look for when buying a Used Car from a dealer.. this car was first sent to a repair shop like this..So look closer than you usually look and you will see what repairs have been made.
I don’t understand the fuss about this guys accent. I understood perfectly
RRRRrrRRrrRrRRrrr
It’s hot too
Great job looked great. If i was you i would add 3 or four coats of paint and three of clear. You can always blend it after. I could still tell the bigger spot. Overall it looked a million times better. Thank you for sharing.
Why so many layers? Won’t it be thicker, much thicker than the surrounding? Also, how often do you sand? Is it only after you start clearing or should you sand any of the paint layers? In this video he sanded after clear but I’m not sure how well that would work on white? Thanks
I always seem to get swirl marks if I use a buffer like that. It looks good until the sun hits it a certain way.I have to use a random orbit instead.
ur grit isnt fine enough or it is too fine and the deeper grooves are not being buffed out
