Helping and recognizing the underprivilege fellow countrymen. - Dany
Thank you Dany for waking me to this kind of situation.
Kudos to Dany! Keep it up!
I admire this lady. Her passion for activism is on another level.
Yeah. And not all have the courage to be one like her.
Me too. Listening to her speak with passion and precision made me think that a movement for change is what we really need in our country
Thank you for continuously fighting for human rights, Dany. The struggles of an activist: being red-tagged, fighting against misinformation and propaganda, being illegally detained, and literally fighting for your life, these are the factors that most cannot understand. No, they are not communists of some sort. They are fighting for your rights.
I love brave people. Thanks so much, At the Backdoor for interviewing her. I've learned so much
Same as me! We learned soo much in this kind of content.
Same, I've learned a lot too and I can't explain how inspiring these people are. They put on so much effort for the people who are being silenced. We should support them all the way!
I'm glad that Dany and other activists exists. They are the reason why people are inspired to speak out and be heard despite the circumstances. They are fearless and relentless especially when innocent people are wronged or being mistreated. I want my voice to be heard also and by supporting these fearless people even if it is a small thing makes me feel good since I know I'm doing something good to protect people.
Yes, we are the voice of the country, the raging fire of freedom of speech, its about the using your voice to speak for the people who had been mistreated.
I agree with you. Ang pagpuna sa hindi tamang sistema ay hindi pagtaliwas sa kagustuhan ng nasa posisyon. Kundi pagpapatunay na tayo mismo ay alam ang tama sa mali. Kailangan lang nilang maliwanagan.
I respect this kind of person. Being brave in voicing out our rights. However, always put your safety first, it is very dangerous out there. I always pray for your safety.
I agree the people in power should accept that we are a democracy and they should respect our right to protest.
Agree, you are putting yourself in danger just by being out there so kudos to these kids.
Yes it is very dangerous. We hope and pray for these brave people that their safety will be ensured being the voice of the voiceless people around.
It is so heartwarming that we still fught for what is right even it sometimes compromise our life.
Yeah, it is touching to see that some individuals are willing to fight for what is just and moral, even if doing so comes with personal risk and sacrifice.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and shining a light on such a misunderstood concept: activism. Laban!
She definitely showed a different side of it and its refreshing really
Since time immemorial human rights have always been fought through rigorous battles and wars. Though in recent years the type of battles has changed, it is still being fought with the means suitable in this era. Glory to those who persevere despite the adversities. One day your voices will be heard and the sacrifices of the many will not go unnoticed.
Yes this is true! 💯
I agree with this! We just need to keep on supporting them so their voices will be louder.
Each effort will pay-off and it will be worth it. For now, fighting for human rights shall continue.
I admire your courage! Thank you for fighting the good fight, some may not understand why you're doing this and they may label you negatively but please do not let this hinder your purpose and which is fighting for what you believe is right.
Yeah, I agree with you! she has a lot of courage and very brave that she could share her experience. Viewer can learn a lot after watching this video!
True!
Yup! It's good to know that a lot more people are now knowledgeable of what they are really fighting for. A lot are supportive of people that are fighting what we believe is right.
I am once an activist and this topic is one of the topic na sobrang active at gustong gusto ko laging pinaglalaban. Thank you for making this type of contents!
This is actually the first time I saw someone give an opinion about this topic. Never kong naintindihan kung anu ba ang reason ng mga activist and it's good na someone posted a content lik this.
Kung may pinaglalaban ka, you should speak it loud. Lalo na if it's for the greater good diba?
Sana mas maintindihan ng government kung anu ba talaga ang pinaglalaban ng mga activists.
Good Job to these two! Keep it up!
I loved how she speaks up for what she cares about.
Yeah. She really speaks with conviction.
Indeed! It is surreal to watch her talk passionately about something that means a lot to her.
She really is well verse and really there to spread the facts about being an activist and what they are fighting for. Kudos to her.
Living in the Philippines fighting for anything is dangerous, let alone being an activist fighting for human rights. This country needs somebody to fight for our rights and more people should be joining activists but the good kind, not the violent and extremist type.
Totally agree. There's nothing wrong by being an activist as long as it doesn't involve violence.
true enough. we must fight in a good way so our voices be heard
I really enjoy watching you guys. Godbless ❤️
Same! This account is consistent with good content
I think they should post a lot of good topics like this in the future.
Going in rally and being an activist is a courageous job. It takes a lot of guts and fighting spirit. Viewers must watch this to understand why others do this.
Agree! 💗💯
Yes, I agree! it is not a bad thing. It is a way of showing courage.
This is absolutely true! This is a must to watch
Indeed! Backdoor is a good content creator.
Well , I don't really have muc ideas about being an activists. But this video allowed me to understands their side . Their love for the country .
I 100% agree with you, this video is an eye-opener to those people who don't have any idea about activists.
Same here, but the point is there, the speaking out the mistreatment, the silence on things that should be the focus of the government like the skyrocketing percentage of jobless citizens.
Me too. Actually, there's more to it than just rallying to the streets. Akala ng iba, puro ingay at bayaran not knowing na sila mismo ang pinaglalaban. I wanna thank you for listening to the side of the activists.
It maybe hard but at the end of the day, as long we know what is right and wrong we should not be worried in fighting for human rights.
The Philippines is one of the most sensitive countries especially about these kind of topic. I hope a lot would be open to talking about this kind.
Agree. When someone say kasi na they are a communist in UP it's already a big no no to them. I'm happy that she shed a light on what activist is fighting for in the Philippines.
Agreed, in modern times our country is still stuck in the old-school mindset. Hope the next generation becomes more open-minded.
True, mostly sa balita parang lagi lang sila yung kontrabida. But may pinaglalaban lang tlaga!
I love how they talked about the misconception of activism being viewed as terrorism. Sadly, that is how my parents see it. But as Dany said, Activism is all about love. and it is up to this generation to never stop fighting for the country so that no generation would see activism as terrorism but as a movement of love.
I agree it only the act of patriotism, because their are things that we should fight especially human rights.
It is indeed sad that the older generations still see activism negatively. Kudos to @Atthebackdoor for putting content like this that would hopefully debunk these misconceptions.
People must watch this video
Tama! Activism is love for our society and the future generation
This is true. It's all about love and respect for the people. With them fighting, people are getting what they deserve and their voices are being heard. It is not terrorism if all they think about is the people.
Misinformation always leads to misconception and chaos. Human rights defenders must always be careful with the information they're releasing in public. nonetheless, let us support those who supports our rights!
This is indeed courageous, I won't drop any names but a friend of mine is an activist, she came from a prestigious university in Manila and this university is really known for fighting human rights/activism. I actually didn't support this at first but she said she's willing to die and would die happy for what they're fighting.
Yup, it is because activists do what they do because of love and compassion for our country. Definitely one of the many definitions of true love. 🤍
Your friend is a real brave person for putting herself on line for what she is fighting for.
I felt this during the past election, my family mistaken activism from terrorism, and it is so hard to explain to them especially if they have closed minds
Right. Pero atleast you tried. That's the best thing you did. Hindi man magbunga ngayon ang usapan niyo, baka in the future, magbunga yun sa ibang tao. Just keep on doing it. Nakakapagod pero kakayanin. Rooting for you.
That's why need malaman ng mga tao tong video na to. Para ma educate sila properly. :)
Sana mapansin nang government natin yung mga ganito. Kasi lagi nalang nababalewala.
If people took the time to listen to each other, I believe there wouldn't be as much conflict or red-tagging as Dany put it.
This was an interesting watch. Growing up, I have been conditioned by people around me to have this specific opinion about groups who join rallies and protests. All along I was just fed with misinformation. I wonder what other misconceptions do we have about activists?
Same here. Growing up I know that all activist are there to spread hatred to the government and take over the government. Which in fact are all false. Very nice topic indeed.
You're right. We are the product of the old beliefs of our culture. I wish they'll never stop spreading the truth!
Wow, this topic open my eyes about communist. I admire her that she tackles everything that activist are doing. Kung talagang makikinig lang satin ang government hindi magkakaroon ng pagwatak watak ng mga saloobin.
Is she a communist? Are communists and activists the same? May point ka po, sana nga pakinggan lahat ng side at magkaroon ng fair treatment ang lahat.
Pero iba iba pa din po talaga lalo kung against sa laws na or kung ano yung mas papabor sa nakakarami.
100% true, sobrang galing nyang mang enlighten, now I understand them, hopefully goverment will also understand the way it gives me a clarity about their perspective.
I'm a graduate of PUP (Master's Degree) and I was also dubbed several times to be an activist. I am not an activist but I respect them. I believe they have sound reasons why they are doing that. They fight for what they believe in and that's far better than being passive and just be silent forever.
Yes, activists are really brave. It was also stated in the video that they chose to be an activist because of love. Love for the country, and the passion for the people. ❤
Point well said
i really dont get people na iniistereotype mga iskolar ng bayan as terrorist (terrorist kasi ayun ang pagkakaintindi nila sa pagiging activist most people) its truly sad
While it maybe true that some activist are turning to the reg-tagged group, we should really see the change that they are pushing the government to do because what they want is really to make this country livable for Filipinos.
Some kasi they just don't see the good in it. But this is really something to be considered.
I think our country allows activists to do their thing as long as you have permits to do it.
I couldn't agree with you more, but they really deserve to be free on doing what they wanted to do as long as it is permitted.
Yes, napaisip din ako eh. kaya thats why andyan yung law enforcement to control this kind of illegal activists
Same goes with other rallies that's being held not just by activist but also other non lgu group who wants to be heard.
