While you can overland in any vehicle one with more interior space is nice. The LR4 is a nicer driving suv when compared to a classic Defender. Getting a Defender with a pop up roof, a 15 gallon water tank, a separate battery for interior lighting, a heater, and electronic equipment can make the camping portion more comfortable.
Great video. I am having the exact same issue on my LR4. Went through two sets of new rims and tires and the guys at the dealership can’t find anything wrong. I know you said you’d be posting a separate video about it but I’m taking it back on Monday and was hoping you can list any other parts you changed other than the tie rod ends. That’d be extremely helpful. Thank you.
I had the same issues with dealers/mechanics. They didn't find any problems until the parts came off. I had a shop check the control arms, etc and they said it was fine. But then when they replaced the control arms they said the bushings were shot. I guess sometimes you just have to remove the part to know if it's bad. I replaced: Upper and lower control arms wheel hub assemblies (both sides) CV joint & axle (driver's side) outer tie rods the inner tie rods are bad and need to be replaced. That will be happening soon. Biggest change in wobble came from replacing upper control arms and tie rods. I'd suggest starting with tie rods and then work your way down the list.
@@ShiftyDrifty Thank you. I really appreciate the quick response. I will start there and see how far we need to go down that list. Looking forward to your next videos.

Hi did you film on a GoPro the d4 looks great Gary
I shoot with the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 and the Osmo Action 3. I gave up on GoPro years ago, they were never dependable. :/
