Great video! I did something very similar in my LR4 (we have pretty similar setups) but I included a flush mount USB port just in front of the Tough Track. It works great for my phone charger and charging a camera because I don't have wires running down past the dash controls.
I had to avoid the center where the radio, touch screen, and other components are located. I didn't know exactly what was under the dash, so being able to remove the panels was a huge help. The air vents were my main concern, I was happy to find that there was about 1/2 inch clearance, plenty for a washer and nut.

I'd love to see some photos of that. I'd like to get those cables out of the way.
Hi Mark, how can I get a link to my Dropbox to you? Apparently UA-cam deletes comments with links in them.
You can send me a direct message on Instagram or use my contact info on my other sites. You can find them here: www.youtube.com/@ShiftyDrifty/about
I hit you up on Facebook. Looking forward to the rest of your adventures.
Great setup. I am doing the same to mine but will for sure add power up there. Makes the wiring much nicer I hope!
@RandyFarnes put a USB port on his dash and it looks great. I'm going to try to do the same soon.
Thank you for this! We’ve been struggling finding a solution and I think this will work!
Man, I wish I knew how to wrench on a car. I guess I need more videos like these. I never knew you used to run a chop shop.
I have a specific set of skills…
Nice installation. Were there components under the dash you had to be careful to avoid when drilling?

Is this the 17” mount?
Yes, the 17" Modular Aluminum Black RAM Tough-Track
How did you manage to remove part of the dash without breaking at least 3 of the clips ❓️I certainly never managed to do that. 😂😂
Haha. You have to treat your Landy with gentle hands. 😂
