It looks like some of those strap cutters might work really well as donor tools for some other systems with less useful side tools. Here's hoping they're compatible. I would replace all those can openers with strap cutters in a heartbeat.
I'd love to see more budget tools have a one-handed, balisong-esque action like the free series. I love my surge clone, but it's frustrating because I need to use the pliers one-handed very often, but have to use 2 hands to open the pliers.

SOGs can be butterflied open with proper break in and lubrication.

Roxon phantom has enough heft to the handles to be able to flip open one handed. Haven't seen enough of the flex to see if it does the same though.

I’m attempting to loosen the action of the small tools. My first attempt was filing the edge against the spring without taking it apart and seemed to help some but I was not 100% happy. Second attempt was to take it apart but one of the pivots is pretty stuck, I have low hopes.
Unfortunately Amazon is trying to charge $40 just for the tool!
Not spectacular but we like it. Budget & cheap but functional. Low end but useful. Look rather plain but sexy. It will eventually inspire innovations in the future. Cheers mate.
I think we will see better versions of this eventually as well.
Interesting tool! I’m not too excited about the overall tool set (especially the file). For $20, not bad!
That file definitely is not great.
The fact there is a head light with it is a great idea.
I wish they do a folding tape style head strap on a light with magnets and COB.
The light can be a multitool of its own.
Add pressure gauge, laser meter, level, light and led meter + NCV.
Then a multitool (custom or non custom) but with bit and socket driver, large scissors and pliers.
And then a bit set with a low profile socket set. You have the best kit in a compact package.
I bet this will be innovative at some point.

I disagree. If I pay for a multi-tool, I don't want to also pay for a headlight. I can purchase that separately. I'd rather have a better-quality tool without the headlight.
