Allman Brothers Cofounder discusses former band member, Dickey Betts and his announcement to tour in the coming year
Jaimoe is one of my all-time heroes! Long Live Jaimoe.
100% class from Jaimoe, always.
God bless Jaimoe for being there! ♥️
Good of him to speak well of his old bandmate.
Jaimoe, as always, a class act
First time I ever remember hearing Jamio's voice. And I've been listening to the ABB since '71 or '72.
God bless Jaimoe !
Gotta love Jaimoe.
Love 💕 Jaimoe

Fantastic human.
“Right on wit’cha” but……y’all kicked him out of ABB.
Turn up the volume I can't read lips
I couldn't hear a word of it. What did he say?
go see Dickey Betts when he tours near you.
Who's Dicket?
Carl Spackler oh my, fixed it haha
Dickey Betts
Not bitter like the ABB terminator Butch.
I agree. I know DB had his issues, but I cannot understand why Butch or Gregg never gave him credit. Dickey wrote the lyrics and music for their top songs as well as his insanely beautiful guitar playing. He made a lot of money for his brothers.
@@suzyq6406 Dicky was the heart and soul of the band who had more charisma than the rest of them combined.
I love them all. They all brought something special, but for me their is NO ABB without Dickey Betts. The original line up, as good as they were would not be ABB as we know it. Not even close. He brought the mojo, every single time they reformed, he brought the music. Jaimoe is a classy act and just a kind human and has never trashed talked. I have read every DB interview online, and Dickey never said anything bad either, although he is hurt, I am sure. Two classy brothers.❤️🍄🎸🎼
@@suzyq6406 Exactly,if Dickey Betts wasn't any good,Duane Allman would've made sure that he was never in the band when they first started..
@@suzyq6406 Wrote music and lyrics for SOME OF their top songs.
Wonder what it was like if you are a black guy living with a bunch of long hair white dudes in 1969 in the deep south?
Butch Trucks has talked in interviews about how he had never really had much (if any) interaction with black folks until he met Jaimoe, since he grew up in a time of segregation. And at first, he was intimidated by Jaimoe, but they quickly became great friends.
