cool share Eddie - I have mixed feelings about re-living those times- Frank was obviously irritated by his antics, they always pulled it together back then. Always a good show/effort- emphasis on effort. Man I heard Jeff some nights, where it was like dude- you're not Ozzy- lol I have many a show watching Tommy fall down, or the guys struggle, all in all, it was real, it was now, and it was Tesla! I have never left a Tesla show disappointed. Two of the most notable experiences I have were with Jeff falling ill a day or so prior to the filming/recording date of 2008 dvd CAYL. -dude was sick as hell, and got haircut to muscle through it. The 2nd was an acoustic show in SF Fillmore- acoustic wires- So sick, didn't call in, or cancel. Just went out there, and gave it up. The good the bad and the ugly- I think that's why I love them so much?
Tommy was a Dick back then.Yes they were a super duel.There was quite a few times we almost kicked his ass including throwing him in the dumpster.Yes he was a duper guitarist.His ego, drugs caused him to be intolerable.I see he on UA-cam once in awhile.Looks like he finally made peace with hi.self.Hope he is doing good.
I new them a little bit back then.Thry would come inyo the club and shoot the shi#.Talked to Brian alot.He would sit drinking a beer.He would tell us about how it was on the road.Down to earth.He explained how the money thing worked dealing with their albums, recording and tours.Got asked by a mutual friend of the band to go out as private security on one of their tours.Had 24 hrs to think about it.Would have been a blast , but I was dating a great girl and said no.We married later and still together.Good decision.
Sucks he left Tesla, Frank and Tommy were the best 2 guitar duo in the business! Bad ass, man! I loved that album, I burnt it out!

Frank is a better technical guitarist, but band has been bland since Tommy left, they worked perfectly off each other
