@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Yes I plug it in and leave it until fall. I hear some folks put it on a timer. Honestly being that it uses so little electricity I just let it run. I have the small 1/2 acre one, in fact I need to order a new bulb. Mine came with two Compact Florescents which got me through the first two years. This is year three. I hang it on a shepherds hook about 20ft away fro my rear deck.

I love it 🥰. My insect population dropped a lot from last year. I’ll always have one from now on.
I have a few customers that use these in Dallas. They mostly catch moths and very little mosquitoes. I use Bifen-IT AND Nyguard mixed to control tons of insects. Spray every 4-6 weeks during season and you would be surprised how little insects are on your property. Tip...Make sure to spray around windows, 3’ up from foundation,yard, bushes, trees and baseboards.

How well does this work with flies?...they are the absolute worst for me here in SC
I bought one last year and it works pretty well but doesn’t completely solve the mosquito problem. It’s another tool on that works with other measures to back backyard living nicer. Thanks for another real world video. I hang mine from a Shepard hook off my deck away from my walkout door.

Hello BYD. I just bought the 1 acre model for the backyard. I ran it the past 2 nights and it caught quite a few mosquitos and several army worm moths, but there has to be a way to kill them quickly after they are caught. What is a good pesticide I could use, maybe soaked in a piece of a folded paper towel or cotton ball or something that could kill the bugs it catches without running them off? Any ideas?
The ideal behind the Trap 🪤 is to natural let the die off. But when I’m ready to open it I just skeet a small dose of flying insect killer in it.
I only dump mine at the end of each season about 4 times, no need to keep checking and dumping 👍🏾

I have one of these. After awhile the bug splatter builds up on the sides and stops the fan. It is near impossible to clean.
I’ve got two of the big ones in my back yard which is only like 5 thousand sqft. Over kill but they work wonder on catching flying bugs. Love the product.

I work and hell no I don’t leave my dog outside unattended. That’s dog abuse. CMON Mayne!!!!!. My backyard is big so I’m not following every footstep my perro takes outside. I’m in hot ass Texas so little turd brings a bunch of flies. I can’t find every single land mine.

Cotton Boxer my response to that is this. I’m not being paid at all for this, but since I’ve installed them my insect problem especially the mosquito 🦟 has been great. I mow with out pest bitting me, even my Next door neighbor has said they haven’t had flying insect issue. Now I’ve applied insect granular control also in the past to control the ground bugs 🐛 that could potentially turn into flying bugs like crane fly larva and mosquitoes. It’s been great for me👍🏾. I will say that some people who get them don’t run them 24-7. Also this is not a bug zapper or use any chemicals.
