Want more volume from that beautiful water line setup? Replace that corrugated hose with a smooth bore water line, like rubber hose. Volume will be more. The corrugated line creates disturbance and slows it down. Retired marine mechanic here, on boats with bilge pumps you can lose up to 20% or more volume when pumping out a boat, and most of those lines are less than 10 feet in length. So when we replaced a pump we would either replace to a larger pump or same pump size and replace to a rubber line. There was extensive testing done by a boating magazine a few years ago on bilge pumps with corrugated vs rubber hose, quite an eye opener!
that is kanaflex brand hose, its smooth bore on the inside, the "corrugated" exterior is just spiral reinforcement

Go to your local fire department and give them a donation and get some of there decommissioned inch and half host and when your not using it all you do is roll it up and put it on the shelf. Much easer to work with than what you’re trying to use.

Cloth fire hose will roll right up. While you're there ask the firefighters about water hammer. With that much flow you'll want to shut your valves off slowly or you'll break something.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHÈT
I use the hose to protect my ratchet straps from getting cut. I cut the old hose in 10” sections then pull the rubber liner out keeping the outer sheath to use. Slip over my straps when they will rub on something to prevent it getting cut and no more cut straps.
Go with a smoothbore nozzel also you'll get better performance.

You may want to look into getting a backflow preventer, because of the volume of water that you are dealing with. It may prevent a burst and major leak from occurring.

You may want to add a pvc pipe through the wall outside so you don’t have to leave the door open when you wash outside in the fall. A 3 inch pvc with two caps will work well. Dairy farms use these for the milk haulers to feed the milk hose through

I would be in heaven with that kind of pressure coming from my well.
Problem with putting the insulation on after the install- it can’t go all the way around because it’s resting against the wall.
Use a long razor knife with the adjustable blade to shave the lengths of insulation before installing.

For a heads up if you have issues with the the pipe blowing off the plastic fittings down the road go with copper fittings, the barbs and sharper and hold better....we had issues with 1 1/4" lines and plastic fittings off the bat

I like to use old Truckrims mounted on the wall to hang Bigger Hoses, this way they don't kink.

Hey Brody & Chet, why not take away the HUGE Banjo valve on the end of the hose and just use the fire nozzle. That would've made the project $50-$75 cheaper and much easier to handle.
