Your grandma deserves a lot of credit. She took it out on the lawn with a number of young men watching. That in itself was amazing. She handled it well. By the way, there are some lawn mowers that use a steering wheel. They seem a little more intuitive. (I am not referring to lawn tractors either.)
She's driven swather and skid steer in her younger days . Wouldn't take long to get comfortable esp with a bit smaller one.I wouldn't want one with a steering wheel myself, having driven skid steer a lot, 2 lever steering is easier for maneuvering. Otherwise steering wheel or joystick ones get it done too.
Dougo, I believe you need more experience driving a 379 with the seat all the way back and all the way down. Oh and also have a gear shifter that comes halfway up the window. The Billy big rigger tip of the day. 😂
You should get grandma on camera more often, she is a firecracker getting on that zero turn mower like a champ. I agree with her, a 48" deck would be more suited to the size of her lawn, and the stuff she has to mow around. She will have it mastered in no time, and probably like being able to swing the deck in around obstacles without having to keep backing up and going forward 4 or 5 time's to get all the grass up next to a tree. G-d bless everyone.
Nope. I own landscaping and lawn maintenance business. A 52" is about the perfect size. I own and have owned 32", 36", 42", 48", 52", 60", 72" mowers. The 52" mowers are the best b/c they are a good size and that's when you step up to a commercial model from a homeowner model. Stronger decks, heavier spindles, more suspension, heavier frames, better hydraulic motors, etc
Congratulations to Grandma Larson. She did really good with the zero turn mower. I thought she was really brave to try the new mower and give it a go. She did fantastic with that mower. The zero turn mowers are really nice once you get used to them. I think if Amy had a smaller one , she would soon get used to it and because she has so much to mow, would really like it. Each to their own I guess. I think Grandma Larson ran a swather once upon a time so she had some experience with that type of steering. The seals you put on the doors are top shelf ones. Really sealing up your big doors, especially in the winter time. Good idea for your wash Bay Area also. Good idea to get those doors sealed up. Thanks for everything. Dougo you are doing great leveling out the gravel on the road. You all take care. The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊😊✅🇺🇸🇺🇸 Grandma Larson is a super lady!!!!!!! She did great on that new mower!!!!!!
Eric , your grandma did an awesome job . Like you said you couldn’t get hardly anybody to sit on it a day drive it. Like your grandma said it takes practice to know all the gears and drive it. Your grandma is cool nothing wrong with her driving it . She has one but it’s just a regular zero mower and the one she is on it’s bigger and more powerful . Way to go grandma you go girl.
First time to subscribe to your channel. Joining from central Indiana farm country. We're a fellow corn, soybean and wheat farm, and my partner and his son have a farrow to feeder hog operation. My first impression is that you have a world class group of men to help you run your farm, that many are envious of. Take care of them!
Go Toro, I bought the 50” Myride Toro this spring. Cut my mowing time with My 50” Craftsman garden tractor nearly in half. The Myride seat suspension is saving my 77 year old back
That's MY kind of Grandma!! Love her!! I seriously love how she got on the machine and ran it. Especially with all those eyes watching. Good for her. That is really fantastic. Cmon Ma am, let me buy you a beer!!
Chet really enjoyed seeing your grandmother on the lawnmower. I give her a lot of credit for trying that new mower. Great content best channel on UA-cam.
Just ordered some snirtsstoppers for some garage doors! They even ship up to Canada. Not excited for winter, but looking forward to see how they preform!
God love Grandma Larson! Chet, if you get G'ma a new mower, weld a support bar across the front for her to hold on to when getting on/off. Dougo, you're a smart man, or you wouldn't have what you have! Always enjoy hearing your words of wisdom.
My dad asked me if I could put a flip up handle like the super duty tailgates on my zero turn to help on and off. I thought whatever until I tripped getting off of it. The mower got a handle.
I have a feeling that it was Brody that got his grandma-in-law on the mower. It's ok. Chet my late grandma liked my ex-wife more than me and all her other grandkids also. 😂 God my grandma was trip. Coming from a professional landscaper 3.5" is the best high to cut fescue grass at.
Chet Eric Broodie and Jordan Grandmagreat video none better nothing better then seeing Grandma on a mower doing the lawn while all the guys standing around
Very nice to see Mrs. Larson out and about today! I think she done a fabulous job! She isn’t afraid of anything and they might make her a sale of a 48 inch one! Or if they can get a canopy for grandmother…that might be a plus! Great job as always!❤
I'm using rider from Husqvarna and it's prefect for my terrain here in Europe, Poland. Zero turn might be only for just really wild and high grass/bushes. But I still have high end Toro lawn mower which works still for over 20 years and it's just wow! :O
Chet we have a toro 0-turn that’s 20 years old and have done nothing to but general maintenance to it and it has never failed to cut grass. Definitely a bullet proof mower
I've had Toro zero turns. I currently own exmarks, ferris, bad boys and gladiator zero turns. Currently my favorite is the gladiator zero turn but they're all pretty good equipment if you maintain them. They all break eventually. My biggest Factor on buying mowers is how close to the dealer and how easy is it to get parts.
Awesome video Chet. Was great seeing grandma Nancy out on the Zero turn. Gotta love it when the grands try new things. Next Chet will have her up in one of the tractors teaching her how to run one of them. DougO' is definitely a keeper. 🚜🚜🚜
@cw93711 think you need to correct yourself on your own wording. She's still a farm wife. And I'd almost bet you that she hasn't ran a tractor in probably 30-40 yrs. I've known several farm wives that's never drove a tractor let alone a lawn mower.
That’s awesome to see your grandma try it!!! Hats off to her!!!!
It was great to see Grandma try the zero-turn mower! It reminded me of giving my grandmother an iPad for the first time.
She is such a good sport and always willing to try new things. 🥰
It was nice to see your grandma and your videos
We need more Grandma in videos!

Cub Cadet has a zero turn with a steering wheel

You go, Grandma!!!!👏👏👏👏 It does take some practice, but once you get used to it, there's no going back. Kudos for trying, you did a good job!
Go Toro, I bought the 50” Myride Toro this spring. Cut my mowing time with My 50” Craftsman garden tractor nearly in half. The Myride seat suspension is saving my 77 year old back

What a great family, you people represent the farmers around the world
Just ordered some snirtsstoppers for some garage doors! They even ship up to Canada. Not excited for winter, but looking forward to see how they preform!
I’ve been handed the camera and told to talk, smart! man that was the laugh of the day. Thank you, Doug.😂
And that's how you sell a new Toro Mower! Get the Matriarch of the family on one
My favourite UA-cam channel by far
God love Grandma Larson! Chet, if you get G'ma a new mower, weld a support bar across the front for her to hold on to when getting on/off.

I Love the someone else is paying for it, things i have to change. Keep up the great videos .
Tell Gramma Nancy that she rocked that mower better than Amy did...Amy was scared of it. Loved her being in a video...GO NANCY ♥
Please a round table with the whole family including grandparents
Hello Chet and Dougo,
My 86 year old mother in law mows her yard with a 60 in Husqvarna zero turn, she has for over 6 years now.
Great job Grandma
That was fun and the editing was outstanding.
Mrs. Larson looked like she was a little intimidated with the size of the mower but seemed to enjoy going for a test run. Hats off to her 👍.
And that's how it done.
Chet Eric Broodie and Jordan Grandmagreat video none better nothing better then seeing Grandma on a mower doing the lawn while all the guys standing around
Good for Grandma to try that!

O my God Brody on very nice lawn mower everyone run for the hills
You're very lucky ya have grandma around! Farm on!
I'm using rider from Husqvarna and it's prefect for my terrain here in Europe, Poland. Zero turn might be only for just really wild and high grass/bushes. But I still have high end Toro lawn mower which works still for over 20 years and it's just wow! :O
Grandma done a great job!! 👍
Your grandmother is delightful!
I'm on my third summer with my 4000 series toro.i love it. First mower I've ever had that was 100 percent perfect for me.
A great lady 😊
As a farmer in Australia, its only a dream to spend money on a daily like these guys 🌾👍
Trust me most people here don’t who are farming And involved in it. But we don’t have a UA-cam channel making money this way lol
Pretty good advertisement for the dealer though. All it cost him was a few hours on his demo equipment to reach thousands of potential customers.
Start a channel and after 10 years like this 1 it will bring in about 200k a year.
I’ve had a zero turn for eight years. I would not go back to any other more and I have a gravely 52 inch but of course I Mow 3 acres
Chet we have a toro 0-turn that’s 20 years old and have done nothing to but general maintenance to it and it has never failed to cut grass. Definitely a bullet proof mower
I've had Toro zero turns.

DougO' is definitely a keeper. 🚜🚜🚜
She knows how to run the tractors.
Just would need help with the computers.
She was a farm wife.
@cw93711 think you need to correct yourself on your own wording. She's still a farm wife. And I'd almost bet you that she hasn't ran a tractor in probably 30-40 yrs.
I've known several farm wives that's never drove a tractor let alone a lawn mower.
@lstone.09 if you listen to video she's run little Bob.
@cw93711 well duh no shit. I did watch and listen to the video. There's a huge difference between little Bob and a tractor ya DA.
I was waiting for this after seeing the Instagram stories. Grandma seemed to like it more than Amy did.
Magnifique vidéo et les tracteur tondeuse sont bien intéressante et bien 😂😮😅
I think your grandma is right she would love a 48 inch. It’s easier for her get her one. She will love it.
No lie, this is probably the most entertaining thing I’ve watched.
It’s amazing to find someone with that energy! You guys are like minions
That was awesome everyone!
Always take care of your Grandmother she has done a lot of harder work than most in her life so give credit where credit is dew she didnt say no
Your Gram is a trooper!
Thanx for the content, Chet! Have a good week!!
That was awsome video. That was great you included grandma.
It's good so see your Grandma trying out the zero turn. If Grandma had more time on the mower she would want one. Great video
The Toro is a beast of a mower, i have a 1985 Z master put a new engine in this year, darn near like new again.
thank you
Your mom needs to try one out.
He sure is a good joker and know his product.
