Can you please interview Grandpa and Grandma Larson about the history of the farm and everything they did before becoming just a grain farm. I know they raised pigs and possibly cattle. I believe everyone would enjoy it. Thank you for everything you guys do to feed America !!
Another Larsen video, another lesson how to properly run a farm. The best farmshow on the internet. I also agree, an interview with Grandma and Grandpa Larsen on the farm history would be super.
love the videos... As for losing tools, I work in very dark spaces , I take a bucket in with me for the tools im using and just make sure they are always in there
Chet, watching this is why I watch farm videos. Somethings broke, you fix it. The internet makes it easier to find the parts and you and the crew do all the rest. Great job , Great Video!
Well Chet, if you’re not Breaking things your not Working hard enough. Brody,Applies himself to every Part of Farming and has Larson Farms in his Best Interest always. I know you guys all have Thick Skin. You Have a Great Team at Larson Farms!
Hi thanks for the great content in your videos. A suggestion to prevent leaving tools in critical areas is make a check list of tools going in and then check off when out of the area. When I worked in the power industry we used to do that when working inside generators or transformers.
Thanks for another interesting video that was interesting to watch. Grandma’s lawn. Come on now guys, let’s get grandmothers lawn fixed up for her. How about some nice fresh fine black dirt to cover over all of the well mess left behind. Get the fine landscaping dirt spread out good and then spread grass seed heavy to get a nice stand of grass growing. That probably will help please grandma with the lawn. See if that will help her Be pleased with the yard. Try anyway!!!!!! She is such a good person ❤!!!!!! Working on those grain bin auger systems is not easy. Such small areas to work in and the new parts not fitting very well. My compliments to all of you for keeping at it and making it work one way or another. You got it done and working. Yeah!!!!!!!! Lots of busy projects right now on the farmstead and new grain bin system also. Keeps you all busy. Let’s get grandma taken care of. She needs her lawn shaped up. Nice lady!!!!! About it I guess for now. You all hang in there. Harvest time before we know it. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Really impressive skill sets and work ethics among you guys! Want to come on down to Alabama and learn about cotton farming?? 😂 Love to have you! Still time before harvest! (Thankfully, because my picker is torn down shimming/replacing spindles, couple of water lines, pads and doffers.
I felt that "multiple blowups" comment in my soul. We've never done an update on our sweeps like that, but we've changed the gear boxs and its no fun. It always seems like they go out on the hottest day possible too 🤦♂️
Did yo run out of gloves again?!!! That's a wonderful scarpe and level job around the new bin site! An antique gear box will run as much as a new complete unit, betcha. Let's replace it and get a new one and she will last forever! We saw a landscape guy who lives just down the road from you, call him and he can fix the Grandparents lawn. Keep the old folks happy! And that Grain Bin work... someone once said: "Oh you will love Farm work, it is always so much fun"! He was tarred and feathered and run out of the State.
Hey, The mower I bet someone changed the original blade that was steel with one that was probably carbon and harder I've seen it on other mowers Where where if you hit a rock or something on some mowers and you change the blade out the carbon you'll actually bust the shaft were the steel one will either break or you know Bend Chet you still can blame Brody for this cuz I think I hear you said that that day was a blame Brody day. 😊 Hey seen guys dump hydraulic motors in just not a gas engine where the gearbox was he just go out there and pull started behind your tractor and pull up behind it's a cheaper fix we know Farmers there real cheap. I've even heard people use a Chevy Malibu engine lol can't resist it. Actually in Florida here the steel blades work better than the carbon they make a nicer cut.
Ah YEA Chet that black dirt or should I say Playdough Gradma will not be Happy let it dry out and maybe till it up with a rototiller if you have one and all will be Fine! Tough repair on that bin unload auger gear box whew but you guys never give up reminds me when I grew up on the farm Dad pretty much fixed everything with me and my brother help learned so much from my Dad maybe that's why I've had a 48 year career as a Automotive Technician and I'm still doing it but I now train the young guys coming into the shop you can't beat experience and passing it on fortunately my Dealership sees that as a huge benefit.
Don't call it stupid if used daily. Father and son or Big and little brother bobcat. At least it went out when empty and not full. Stay safe great video
I'm starting to see one of the reasons why purpose built concrete steel grain stores/sheds with loading shovels are more popular here than bins. I think it is why Harvestores never really took off or replaced the silage pits/bunks. Admittedly I believe taxes also play a part in it
Brody I can't figure out your putting up with your He /She boss. From what I have seen I think your wprk endeavers and work ethics wold be appreciated down the road.
During the disassembly of the mower I noticed a nice shiny bolt holding the universal sleeve onto the drive shaft of the gearbox. Was that an approved shear bolt, or something from your nut & bolt bin? Approved shear bolts tend to prevent shaft breakage an protect the costly equipment...just saying.
Bad tie down job on back of compactor . That whole rear end could slide With that 1/2 chain wrap that will slide right across that bar , several wraps around maybe better or on each corner is a much better safer job
Well you need that 830hp quadratic of mean green then tune that tractor add another 50 to 100hp even better then that scraper won't stop that tractor.😊

I bought the wireless remote for mine. Best thing I ever did. Now I load stuff and run the winch by myself.

What a great crew to work with. Every one of you guys just rock.
Thanks for another interesting video that was interesting to watch.

The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
The last frame of the three of you sitting by the grain bed is a cool Picture suitable for framing,
Really liking the engineering and mechanics of the grain bin sweep 👏👏👏
I am glad brodie is always working so chet has something to video since dougo quit tearing stuff up
You can always load it like those of us without a winch, and boom chain across the tail to give the tracks/roller something to grab.
Thanks to you, your family and farm team for sharing. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays I look forward to seeing all of you.
Amazing work Larson family and crew. I always enjoy your videos. The great American Farmers feeding the world 🌎
That’s a lot of frustrating work. 😢. But you guys got it done. Good work guys!👍❤️
You guys can fix anything. Well done.
Great stuff guys ,Chet quit blaming Brody for stuff lol😂😂😂😂
Keeping a good attitude makes crappy days bearable
Well it's been a while. I guess any opportunity to pull out the Johnson is a good opportunity..
Oh that was so funny. I know.
Great job fellas. 👍👍
Time to buy a bobcat tiller! Works great for those types of jobs!
Thank you 😊
Some might say Junk but you guys say content. Nice job. 😊
You guys are amazing
You should do a big family picture to say thank you. So everyone can see the people you affect.
Everyone Is Always Blaming Brody and The Sad Thing Is He Is Really The Only One Who Actually Works.
Salute to farmers
You need a root rake for the skid steer it does work miracles on dirt should look into it

Awesome video. thank you so much
Thanks 🙏
Thank God for cordless tools!

Hey- Don't forget the ol' JD70 has a mower mounted and ready to go, I'm sure...
Great video Chet a lot of different things going on. I bet grandma is not happy. And if grandma is not happy nobody is happy.
Great fix guys!
Another great video that was interesting to watch. Chet
Great job. Much better than I. You guys rocked 😊
Wishing you all a safe and happy Labor weekend

Rusty ⛓️💥 chain? Where are your gloves. A guy that “has” ocd you should have a glove sponsor 😂
cody kinda hard on ur gear boxes lol love the videos n I love amy videos especially when she catches dougo off guard
you could use the tiller that you use for the garden and put down grass seed
Come on , MUSCLES BOYS! Haha, keep up the good work!
The Struggle is Real! 😊
Alright!! Thanks for sharing Chet. Happy Sunday. Stay safe. Stay well. Victor (Arkansas)
Go hogs!
Why not just get a bat wing shredder? That’s what we use in Nebraska to mow ditches. Love the videos tho!
Ah YEA Chet that black dirt or should I say Playdough Gradma will not be Happy let it dry out and maybe till it up with a rototiller if you have one and all will be Fine!

Happy Labor Day, everyday. Brody - don't break anything!
Great
Awesome video chet and Larson farms!!!
Don't call it stupid if used daily. Father and son or Big and little brother bobcat. At least it went out when empty and not full. Stay safe great video
You don’t engage that gearbox until it’s empty..
Team Larson
You should take a couple of cardboard boxes with you to keep tools in.
I'm starting to see one of the reasons why purpose built concrete steel grain stores/sheds with loading shovels are more popular here than bins. I think it is why Harvestores never really took off or replaced the silage pits/bunks. Admittedly I believe taxes also play a part in it
Happy Labor Day to Everyone at larson farms
Put your binders on the passenger side that way if you have to pull over to tighten the chains up you won’t be standing in the traffic lane
Brody I can't figure out your putting up with your He /She boss. From what I have seen I think your wprk endeavers and work ethics wold be appreciated down the road.
God bless you all, and thank you very much!
Poor brohdy was his day to be picked on lol
You got a bunch of good guys
1st time I have seen u actually tie something down😂
Could you please give me the part numbles power sweep gear box etc. We kinda have the same problem with the same kind of power seep
You can get the gearbox from surplus center.
There are so many gear boxes on the farm. I wonder how many hours we're on tge old brush hog?
Great video
At the local machine shop the parts are alway available but they have a problem being back ordered frequently
Gloves work well with rusty chains.
Gearbox on eBay is a couple hundred bucks, snapped one last year.
Can’t imagine the number of spare gear boxes you need to have on hand to keep the equipment running.
Fill ruts in grass with sand, and it fills in nicely.
Talk and talk!!!
If grandma ain’t happy. Ain’t nobody happy. Fix her yard.
Get a rototiller and work that dirt in. Easy peasy
Great video. Thank you for sharing
Yes I'm a Iowa boy and that was bad lol
And no pry bar was lost this day!😏
Shoveling grain by hand for 5 minutes can be a eternity. I don't want to think about a hour LOL
All in a days work. Still, you did it with a laugh that is the main thing. Well done. From UK.
Bad tie down job on back of compactor . That whole rear end could slide With that 1/2 chain wrap that will slide right across that bar , several wraps around maybe better or on each corner is a much better safer job
Ever count how many batteries you all have? And then have a contest for merch on line to whoever guesses the right number. Then m ove to tires. Lol
nobody said struggle bus? so it couldn't have been that bad, I'm assuming, but thanks for the show., mix some sand in with the black clay
It was getting quite desperate in that grain bin. Sometimes you just need to stop and have a piece of pie.
"Grain Ben" is Chet for "Grain Bin." 😅
Should’ve just bought some sand for the yard repair. Fill in the ruts and the grass grows right through it.
If you ever wondered why your beans tasted of oil and grinding dust ;) ....
Buy that mower and use your old one as a parts machine
Chen quit picking on Brody....He is a Cool Dude
Chet, you guys better get your Grandma lawn fixed or there will be Hell ro pay. Or you could let poor old Dougo take the Hear.
Magnifique vidéo et les tracteur et les boca et cilo et bien réparation 😮😅😊
Well you need that 830hp quadratic of mean green then tune that tractor add another 50 to 100hp even better then that scraper won't stop that tractor.😊
👍🏽
“bean matter” lol 😂
Is Jorden full time employee now
5 minutes to destroy an Eric wasn't involved that's a win
Brody wrecks things and it takes the whole crew to fix things. 😂
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
Great Video. Another example of when we are all to buy new stuff instead of fixing.
