- An unexpected breakup led to this solo female, Sita, to downsize from an apartment to an RV to a smaller van. She's just getting started but so far is thriving in her 1998 Chevy Gladiator, Sage. Sita isn't letting the split define her and instead is creating a life she loves with her dog (Dudley) and cat (Minka). There are many smart van life hacks and useful gadgets in this van tour.

I couldn't do the dog (even though I LOVE dogs) or cat but I LOVE the way you have your van set up. It's neat clean, feminine but not cluttered and girly. And its airy.
Hi, I have the same van Chevy express, You need to get a lithium battery or two, (I have 3 100@hr 12v lithium's) an 1500 watt inverter and a Renogy DC to DC charger for your lithium batteries. You don't want to start your van all the time when using a coffee maker or in my case a microwave oven, fridge and built in ceiling TV. They run great off the batteries. Never have to worry about running down my starter battery in front.

When I was living in my conversion van, I used the large flat area under my mattress to store my window coverings. I also laid my beach and shower towels out flat under there. Now I'm living in a Chinook Baja with more storage than I need LOL! Happy travels.

I love van life videos, but very few say what they do for an income. That would be so helpful, because very few people can just up and leave without an income.
Agreed! We talked about it in the interview video. I’m a nanny, so I stay in one spot for now, but I’m working on working remote so I can travel full time hopefully some time soon

An empty jug with a collapsible funnel to pour your Grey water into wrks great. It's great 4 spitting into when you brush your teeth too. Two collapsible wash basins or BIG collapsible bowls (one 4 dishes or fruit and veggies.....add a collapsible pasta strainer 4 the latter .....and a separate one 4 personal hygiene) negates the nead 4 an actual sink in a small space.
What about the scratching post/pad 4 🐈 and the littlerbox?

I’m noticing a theme with nomad car names, the name seems to reflect the color of the vehicle. I’ve seen Four cars now have names related to their color, mine included lol. I saw a car named sapphire, one named big blue, now sage, and my own nomad car Pearl.

You know what, I realized after we filmed this, that we missed that. I have it in the front on the floor of the passenger seat. And I use this new type of litter called “Pretty Litter” it works amazing! Way less mess, and doesn’t smell. More expensive but lasts way longer! I’ll have more useful tips like this on my channel soon 😊

With all due respect. Tap water is drinkable water. Many humans all over drink it. Maybe if she had more money they would share her water. Many people use tap water for animals. Even the zoos do that.

well not to mention you look very beautiful I love you spirit your smile is infectious hope I said that right I'm looking to do The Nomad thing looking for a class a rv need a little more comfortable back in the 1980 i had a dodge van all decked out loved it got two houses to sell a lot of junk to get rid of sick of the everyday rat race I'm looking for a little more simpler life hope to see you someday on the road hopefully you're still single laugh out loud wish you all the luck in the world stay strong
I'm just wondering if she works or where she gets her money to live this way. Well how do most ppl that live the van life pay for things cuz not everyone can have a UA-cam channel lol j/k but Ive thought about it and if your going to live in one place or maybe have a job that you can just do from anywhere I just don't see how you'd afford the gas, food, the money to make the van livable or functionable plus your expenses when you need hygiene stuff etc......

Where is kennel for pets safety while driving?! If you don’t love or care for their safety REHOME! Talk to staties & vet about horrific stories of accidents! Mts have wolves deer elk bears etc desert have scorpions rattlers coyotes never let off leash!!! Camping with others you don’t know if they have fixed or given shots ! Rabies parvo is real! Unfixed males will pack up & attack & kill!! $20.00 thrift kennel Amazon sells harness that slides through seatbelt! Don’t be an idiot! Be responsible! Love your pet be responsible Momma!
