    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Emily started in a tiny apartment, then traveled with a suitcase lifestyle, and finally ended in her adorable van. Her home on wheels has a super functional build starting with the main living space that transforms into a dinette table, a spare bed, or a lounging couch with a hide-away toilet secretly stored underneath.
Her garage, or wine cellar as she calls it, holds miscellaneous items and has a door leading to an easily accessible path to the back of the van. Although she doesn't clearly understand each item, she has a sweet setup of control panels, one for solar, a thermostat for her propane heater, another for the hot water thermostat, and lastly, one to monitor her batteries. Emily and her no-name fish currently don't travel much, but she loves the size and practical design of her tiny home on wheels.

I greatly appreciate your honesty👏🏽. You were candid about adjusting to the van, things you don’t know, things you’d do differently, and your safety. Many interviews make everything sound perfect…not realistic. I think honesty is best especially for those of us considering van life. Sending you well wishes.

Take it from a former van lifer, for your safety and piece of mind get a box cutter, marine horn, and taser and place those items within arms reach at all times.I was sleeping one night and someone was yanking on the handle to my back door while I was sound asleep.

This is the first time I have watched a video this long about a van conversion. Any other one I tried to watch longer than 10 minutes, I would loose interest. This is one of the nicest van set ups I have seen and I could happily live in it. I really like it and also how you decorated it. I don't know if you live in the lower mainland or the interior of BC but I wish you luck in going through the winter months as I also live in BC and know what they can be like. The only think missing in the van was a van cat!!

I think it's interesting that she admits she doesn't cook much and would prefer takeout. So many van lifers seem to just love being in the kitchen.
It's great that she has a job where she can stay in her work's parking lot. She wouldn't need to call in on bad snow days then! I had been wondering if she had a shovel in her van for the snow, or other snow emergency things like kitty litter.

Fish should never be placed in windows where the heat can cook them as the water heater up.

    • @nadiavanleur

a bigger tank yes! but no company. It's what looks like a male betta fish, they do better by themselves. They can go with some other fish, but only specific kinds
