I love my echo's.. Now own a 620 full wrap, a 501p (50cc), and an itty bitty 3510(35cc, and oh what a fun little saw) I really WANT a 7310.. but I think I'd be wise to instead get the 620 and the 501 ported. But the build quality and ease of working on them (like the old husky's) is just something special. In the days of Strato saws and autotune with EPA and OSHA regulations.. they are a modern "old school" breath of fresh air.

Hey bucking God bless buddy can I ask you a question please if you're cutting and let's say you hit a nail or a rock you have to sharpen your chain let's say one side did not get hit but the other side did once you sharpen it one side is bigger the tooth then the other side of the tooth of the chain does that matter do they have to be the same size each side of the tooth thank you
What kind of oil do you use for your chain oil I've been using cooking oil for years of course I don't want to spray petroleum product all over the planet cooking oil that you get from the grocery store is also cheaper than regular sticky chain oil I've never had any issues with cooking oil even with big saws except if I leave the cooking oil in the saw for a long time it solidifies and sticks to the inside of the oil tank if I use the saw all the time the cooking oil is fine the Eco oil is $30 for a quart so expensive so now I'm mixing the Eco oil and the cooking oil half and half I know around Vancouver in the local mountains they don't allow the regular chain oil good thing figured that out on my own 20 years ago just to use cooking oil also getting cooking oil all over my pants and whatever a lot better than getting regular petroleum chain oil on me
I've got some clovey chain. Oddball lookin' chain & obsolete. Think what caused that was people using it as a normal chain when it was meant for ripping. I'd like to see you work with some of that.
What do you think about that Walker bar Buckin? I picked myself up a 28” with one of Donnys chains to try out. Haven’t played with the setup much. Sliced a few cookies in a big chunk of white ash seemed to hold its own threw it.
Was hoping we would see you cut that massive cedar tree. What a beautiful tree such a shame about the damage to so many of the trees in that area. Being kind 👍♥️
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Oh no I watched you drop it I meant to watch you do the bucking, I always have trouble with big trees getting the saw stuck. Watching you do the high side then low sides I see I was in a hurry trying to do it the wrong way. Thanks my friend for sharing your knowledge and experience. This old cutter is still learning. 👍♥️♥️
With the Stihl chains, I don't see an advantage in the oil holes in the chain. They don't line up with the oil hole in the bar, so they're not going to be picking up much oil if any.
What exactly is killing those cedars? Great video. 👍 my son and I very much enjoy your videos. I really like when your showing all of your different axes. If possible could you do a video on replacing handles. I noticed all your axes have very clean wedge placement with no gaps. Thank you sir.
Bucking also when I'm cutting big wood like how you are in this video it seems like my cuts Mitch match a lot and I have a hard time to get the log off can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong thank you so much God bless
How bad is the bar oiler on those newer echo saws? Alot of the older Echo saws that I've run over the years were pretty limited on Bar length because of the a weak oiler. I wish all "Pro" saws had a manual over-ride on the oiler like the old McCullochs had so you could give it a squirt. You can physically feel a chain start to "drag" after ya run saws long enough.
@Text me on telegram@BuckinBillyRaySmith thanks for the great videos I enjoy watching your enthusiasm for powersaws especially old macs. I really enjoy you pulling out the monster saws like the 125s and the 797s

That echo is running awesome
Great video
I wonder what the drifter has been up to and where he’s been drifting too lately 😂 😂😂 miss that fella, keep on driftin drifter! 😊😊
he lurks,, lol
What do you think about that Walker bar Buckin? I picked myself up a 28” with one of Donnys chains to try out. Haven’t played with the setup much. Sliced a few cookies in a big chunk of white ash seemed to hold its own threw it.
Was hoping we would see you cut that massive cedar tree. What a beautiful tree such a shame about the damage to so many of the trees in that area. Being kind 👍♥️
did you miss it couple days ago?
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Oh no I watched you drop it I meant to watch you do the bucking, I always have trouble with big trees getting the saw stuck. Watching you do the high side then low sides I see I was in a hurry trying to do it the wrong way. Thanks my friend for sharing your knowledge and experience. This old cutter is still learning. 👍♥️♥️
The Echo has a better rev range than the 592 I thinks , lovely
With the Stihl chains, I don't see an advantage in the oil holes in the chain. They don't line up with the oil hole in the bar, so they're not going to be picking up much oil if any.
Stay on the buckin Billy
What exactly is killing those cedars? Great video. 👍 my son and I very much enjoy your videos. I really like when your showing all of your different axes. If possible could you do a video on replacing handles. I noticed all your axes have very clean wedge placement with no gaps. Thank you sir.
Bucking also when I'm cutting big wood like how you are in this video it seems like my cuts Mitch match a lot and I have a hard time to get the log off can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong thank you so much God bless
Great Video!,
Are you running a 32" or 36" Bar on the Echo?
Thanks
Buckiy iI have the 36 in bar for it I love echoes saws and others my friend I have cs800p
Echo makes a good product whatever the piece of equipment
How bad is the bar oiler on those newer echo saws? Alot of the older Echo saws that I've run over the years were pretty limited on Bar length because of the a weak oiler. I wish all "Pro" saws had a manual over-ride on the oiler like the old McCullochs had so you could give it a squirt. You can physically feel a chain start to "drag" after ya run saws long enough.
Oiler working fine on my 7310 with a 28. Plenty of oil, and with adjustment maxed out, it runs out of gas right before it runs out of oil
Buckin that would be a great tree to pull out a 797 to run with the 125. Be fun to see how those monsters compare on big cedar
@Text me on telegram@BuckinBillyRaySmith thanks for the great videos I enjoy watching your enthusiasm for powersaws especially old macs. I really enjoy you pulling out the monster saws like the 125s and the 797s
Ive been curious about the echos buddy im glad you did a video like this, love seeing those pics of ya back in the day buddy. Curious, thats not bear claw all the way to the left is it?? Much love brother as always
Bucking I'm wondering why you wear eye protection? Is there a reason why you don't? Just wondering.
Paused @ 8:31 minutes. Did the guy with 3 hands get 3 times more accomplished or less things accomplished and go missing into the bush for a while? Respectful fun-shine submitted with dry sense of humor.🙏👍🌄
Good video! I have a new CS620p and have about 10 tanks of gas through it and after it warms up it now has a sucking noise at idle. Does that mean I need to lean out the carb or is that normal?
