Sounds like the carb needs a little tweaking. It's cool to see the old saws making a comeback. We ran Pioneer forever in the woods logging. We tried a couple Mac's through the years. They would be good home use saws.

@@Buddha-of8fk I think the 125 needs a rebuild, something is not happy, and I don’t want it to blow up so it’s done till I gather parts. I have much lighter saws both Mac and pioneers I use around the property mainly

@@BamaPerformanceAndVintagesaws Is it hard to find parts for the old saws? We had a shed half full of Pioneer saw parts but we scrapped it decades ago. After Pioneer started going down hill we went to Husqvarna. Really we used about everything. Our family started with axe, crosscut and horses and mules. Now it's totally different. More equipment and more overhead for sure. Sometimes l wish that stuff ran on oats like the horses and mules did.

@@Buddha-of8fk it can be hard to find parts, I have a few different sources for different brands and can get parts shipped to the house, and I buy parts saws to use to rebuild others

@@BamaPerformanceAndVintagesaws The P51 was my absolute favorite saw. Couldn't possibly count how many trees l fell with those saws. We log in PA and some NY. Saws take a beating. The P51 would take a beating and a half.

@@Buddha-of8fk pioneer really had a fantastic saw, the entire p series line were monsters, built like tanks, but not as heavy as other brands, and great power, yeah I know that northeast logging is pretty rough
