ALL 3 SAWS ARE PORTED BY THE SAME MAN ...take a look at the size of the round at 20:05 husky 572,,,,,,,, then take a look the round at 9: 45 stihl 462. the stihl had the fastest cut as it was cutting less wood, only buy points of a second... a great lil' saw. strong . the saw of the day decided by two fellas who have had power saws in the mittens for quite some time.. was the husky 572 . chain speed , pull, the whole way around. .tough on the stihl guys but. that just today , if ya all like this type off stuff and wont get yer feelns' hurt when yer favorite brand gets beat , we'll do some more of this .. spread love now friends .. be kind
I'm all about it. I love my echos and I'm fine seeing it get beat time wise. They are all great saws and it comes down to personal preference. I love the sound and feel of echos and that's the closest reliable dealer I have. I also prefer the traditional choke.
Picking any of these 3 saws shouldn't make anyone think to themselves "oh maybe I should have gotten the other one". They're so close! It's all about what you prefer in the end, can't go wrong. I personally would take the 462 over the husky for example just for the 10% less weight and a bit better low end torque. But for a 60cc I prefer 562 over the stihl's 362, hah. Remember lads, cookie cutting isn't what we use these saws for, 1-2 seconds of time difference in a 20 second cut is nothing, you don't cut trees on a stand with a perfect angle in the forest, there are so many other things to consider. Also, porting and all those changes make all these saws completely different beasts in performance.
I ran Sthil for years. I bought an Echo 590 3 years ago cause it was a good price. I didn't expect much. It's been a great saw, I've cut about a 1000 cord with it. Spent about 200 bucks on maintenance. Really great saw, very reliable.
Good sound from all three saws could you run a 555 husg and a Stihl ms250 and a husg 354 if it is possible and say which is the best one you think please

I own a CS-352, great saw for 2 years... then it could not go to high speed and cut, would just bog down and die. So I went to Echo to get a new carb(yes I tried cleaning it multiple times before this drastic step) and the cost of the carb was as much as the saw. So now it sits next to my not running Homelite, in the shit corner of my shed... My husky rancher and Jonsored have the honor spot in the garage for a reason - they work! At 75, I am slowing down so I do not cut as many trees anymore, mostly for storm damage in the forest, but when you need a saw it has to start...
I'm a husky man as well, but my only problem lately with them is the dealers are disappearing and there only available at the big box stores. I could've bought a new 572 for 850 dollars but didn't because they are the only dealer around and they are so far behind on warranty work you gotta wait months to get your saw fixed if need be. I have run a few great echos. I climb with one actually. Cost matters too. Echo wins in my opinion.
I am not some long time follower of this channel or a fanboy, I've watched a couple of videos, but man there are some points that jump at you immediately. Billy is an incredible man with a huge empathy and that life spark we all kind of wish we had or are striving toward. Not everyone is capable of being so composed and in line with the people that soround you or the stuff that happens to you that you have no control off, but a bit more of this positive vibe and energy that Billy is full of, would do us all some good. It's so nice to see a man who's content with what he is and does, especially in today's world of conflict, money grab, fakery and social media. I would like to add just one more thing... Let us all try to connect on stuff we have in common and talk about the things that connects us, instead of this constant conflict that we're pushed in by the media and people with different agendas..
Not to discredit that 572 in any way, cause it's an absolute animal, but it clearly is the most worked up saw. The stihl isn't far behind it from the sounds of it but doesn't quite equal it. The echo definitely has more to give when the other two are pretty much optimized. I've seen, from other builders, that an equally heavily ported 7310 equals or surpasses their version of a ported 572, and definitely surpasses this 7310. He definitely has the most experience with the huskies and jonsereds, with stihl not far behind. He seems to be getting into the Echos pretty good lately so I'm excited to see what he can do with a 7310 when he pushes them as far as the 572 is.

Love the video. All three saws are great saws. All power saws are great and it is our love for the power saws, and the love of Buckin that brings us here. Welcome new subs!!Be kind , love wins. Gratitude 🙏
Bless you Donny Walker. Bless you Buckin' for taking us over there so we can see what a Wlakerized saw runs like. The torque is something that I need to learn more about. Could you please ask Donny what he did to increase the torque??? He has a way of explaining things I can understand!!!
I like all three brands, only been running a saw for seven years, no pro saws, just homeowner and the bigger farm saws (40-59cc). I really never needed a pro saw. I've done a lot of limbing and bucking in that short period of time. I'm a huge Husqvarna fan. I really don't care about speed because I'm a saw hobbyists, enthusiast and just find running a saw very relaxing. Just wish I started before I was 28 years old. I started splitting wood at 15 with an old Plumb boys axe, the love has never left me and won't ever fade away. Everything I own is Husqvarna now. Love their equipment. From chainsaws, axes, snow blowers, push mowers, leaf blowers... I have it.
Them husky are nice saws. My uncle logged with them for years. I run 395 xp and 372 xp. I am just cut some firewood for myself help my dad and brother get there wood as well. Keep up the great content. Thank you Buckin
God bless you Buckin! You're a good example of what it means to "Work your A** off"! It's simple. Make a plan, follow the plan. Apply that no matter what you do and you'll be golden! Work hard. Play hard. It's best when those mix!
I don't care if my brand gets beat...there is always going to be something better..but if there yours and you love them then who cares....love it buckin
With all due respect that Echo CS-7310 outperformed all of those saws. I am excited, because!! I just got me one today with with a 32-in bar. It will partner up nice with my stihl 460 Big Bore. Very nice demonstration of the chainsaws keep up the good work Buddy!
If you think the Stihl sounds awesome you should have heard a ported plain old 0 series. A 036 or a 044. You would probably cry.The Echo comes closer to that sound the old Stihl saws had.
This is really getting me excited to port one of my saws! I’ll be happy if it still runs when I’m done! Nice saws every last one! Fun video! Love from Idaho❤️
Buy a degree wheel. Machine the base to get correct squish and open the bottom of the transfers a little and you will feel that. If you rise the exhaust that will move the powerband up. But once you lift it to say 95 ATDC you will need to do a lot more than just that to really get it to run at full potential. I have a lot of dead jugs from my early days so do not cut your OEM. Go and buy some cheap chines thing and hack into that. You will stuff it up and many more before you get the results you are looking for. Its very addictive and some 10 years on I'm still keen to get even more power. What Don did here with that 572 was pretty special. It took him just one jug to get it right. That is huge experience. I'd need more than one.
First I want to say how much I enjoy your channel. I really know you don’t like stihl me I own a 041 I bought new back in the 70s I have a 241 and a 461. I have one husky. Spent more trying to keep it running and finally just stop using it many years ago my stihls are running great. Guess I got a bad taste for husky. But my friends love them. I know you love them.
My old Husky 359 kicked the bucket. Ended up buying the Echo CS620PW 27". I'll break it in slow and easy before modding, save for changing out the stock air filter and carb adjust to 11k rpm. Rebuild the 359 on a stormy day in February for a back up.
I see two fellas on the top of their game. The guy who builds em and the guy who runs em. When i get a saw built I'll totally send it to Walker's, he really cares about what he does and listens to the customers!
Hey Buckin, hope you and the family are doing great! Watching you here in Las Vegas, not too many trees to buck but I split the heck out of some firewood. Stand up and buck brother and be kind!
Now I like hot-rod saws cutting wood as much as any East Coast, non-logger dude, but ya had me @drone footage!! Whoo-EEE, BBR, the thought of an eagle eye view of you or Hogan, 120’ up and in the gaffs whilst flailing away w/one of the little guy saws sounds like serious entertainment! All ya’ll newbies are in for a treat! Welcome and good cutting to all, & do something nice for somebody! 😁❤️👍❗️
Great vid, Buckin! A couple of points id like to mention, is, that 7310 was the only new saw of the three from what I saw. She should open up a tad with some tanks thru it. And I bet as Donny does a few more, as he has with the stihls and huskys, he should come into them as each saw model needs a few different tweeks. Not taking anything from the others, they're all great saws! My daily music's in my head now! Thanks, Buckin, keep rockin!
That sthil is a beast. But I'm a husky man. Lol. That echo is a great saw also. So cool.. it reminds me of the old Ford vrs Chevy conversation around the fire. Then the Dodge guy steps in .lol.. that's the Echo. Be kind!
Watch you're videos all the time and they brighten up the day. I had two 572 huskies but my when I tried the 462 stihl them huskies were gone. I fell timber 6 days a week and I need performance and reliability but unfortunately the 572 couldn't give me that.
@@austindenotter19 I found the 572 lacking a lot of bottom end especially in hardwoods but in soft wood probably fine. My 372 has a small port job done and it is one of my go to saws.
I’ve just bought a stock 572XP but I’m still using my Walkerized ported 385XP I bought and had shipped to the UK in 2005. It still rips through big wood 16yrs later.
Thank you for the good words about Echo. I was beginning to think this way. But wanted confirmation. I have had a couple Echo items. But this sets me on a firm path. Thanks.
What a great video! Buckin’ you guys helped me make my decision on which saw to buy. I’m going with the Echo due to the price point. It’ll be shipping to Walkers immediately to get Walkerized. Thanks for your positive attitude and message. You’re making a real impact on folks my friend!
I don’t know about the 7310 but I have 2 if the echo 590 Timberwolf and for the money you can’t beat them on average around here 400 buck out the door for a 60 cc saw isn’t bad I think there 420 with the 24 inch bar and I also love the huskies
As a porter myself I too liked the Echo. I think it had good workable power and the cylinder has some real potential in it. I think if Don has the time to develop it there is quite a bit left on the table. I am a major Husky fan and not too keen on Sthil at all but the 462 had great chain speed but clearly not a lot down low. As a work saw I'd take the Echo over the Sthil but over all the Husky won this round. I'm seriously considering buying an Echo and porting it.
It shows how great a saw builder Donnie is the 2 smaller cc saw are faster than the Echo! All great saw but wow it’s cool to see how he squeaks the power out of them saws! One hell of a saw builder the proof is right in front of your eyes! I run Stihl fir the most part only because where I live and grew up it’s all that is sold in my area! But don’t let your pride get in the way of great saw brands! You can’t go wrong with any of these saws love it! Great video Buckin and well done Donnie! 🤙🏻👊🏻
What makes your spirit breathe? Whatever it is, do that. Because in truth, only good things make the spirit breathe. Doing good is the best way to heal. Keep doing what you do Buckin!
I love all of those saws!.. The 572 Husky was hands down the best!.. The 7310 will get better the more that it is used though! Be safe & enjoy Buckin!..
I have a smaller ported echo and my friends make fun of me when we go woodcutting because I have an echo. I usually make them eat crow when my echo with 20 less cc’s will cut twice as fast as their saw that they spent 3 times the money on. I love echo and will not go back.
They especially hate it when you pull out the other echo or echos you bought with the money you saved lol I bought 3 echos recently for less than the price of 1 Stihl. Love echos never let me down.
Stihls with M-Tronic carbs don't even work here in Texas when the temp is 100 and above. Yet the Echo CS-590 Timber Wolf only grows stronger . . .its over 2 yrs old, in its 2nd 20" Echo bar and 2nd sprocket now, and still feels like it's only getting better. Tree trimming and removal is my profession, so it gets used every day in the week or sometimes every other day in a week depending on amount of business. I take care of my saws but I use them HARD. The CS-590 gets a lot of dirty jobs like stumping level to the ground, root cutting, limbing bigger limbs out of Siberian Elms full of disgusting rotten tree p!ss. It won't outcut my Stihl MS362 but it's close to it when the temp is 100+ and my 362 is vapor locking constantly. I had a Stihl MS441C (that's a M-Tronic carb saw) bought used but near new from the pawn shop. In 100+ temps, it would only make about 6 or 7 cuts in big stumps before it turns into Wah wah wah, wah NOTHIN!! I turned it back to the pawn shop as a defective item. Had it for 4 months and it always cut fine up into the mid 90 degree temps. SO! Needless to say, I'm SUPER STOKED for a 73.5cc saw from ECHO!! Just have to get all the car and truck problems taken care of first. 😬
And yes, I just found out about the Echo 7310p 2 days ago! WTF!? How have I missed this for 8 months!? Idk, but I need it TOMORROW to take down a 45 ft P!SS ELM!! HAHA!! Chainsaw Berzerker in World War Tree
Good to hear you pronounce Stihl the same way we do here in UK , a lot guys on your side of the pond pronounce it Steel , they’re all good saws but cut me and I bleed orange and white , STIHL all the way , rubbish weather here in UK , snow rain , and your getting summer .
Loved the video friend. Awesome. Was on nights last night and the frist thing I did when i got up was watch you channel. Sets me up for the rest of the day. Your the man ✊. Keep it strong. 👍🌳🤝
I work for the Maine DOT and all we had were Husky 51's or 353's, they were amazing unkillable saws. We ran them into the ground till recently we had to get some new ones because the Husky's eventually got beat to oblivion being thrown around in the back of trucks and we had one that was even incased in ice at one point. Jordan's the place where we get our saw work done changed over to dealing out Echo's and we got three of them brand new and they all wouldn't start brand new. We brought them back and had all the electronics replaced and they eventually ran but they were never like our Huskys. It'd take almost five seconds from trigger pull for them to even think about revving and if you get one running and warm, turn it off, move to the next tree fall, you can yank on it for ten minutes with the choke on before it would even cough. I got a bad taste in my mouth for Echo's, sure wouldn't replace my old Jonsered's and Husky's I run at home.
Happy Thursday friends, it will be a good day, got my daughter a new bike, just donated 2 truckloads of split wood to single moms around my valley, delivered and stacked of course. Page right outa the buckin handbook :-) I’m just feelin stoaked today friends just a all around good day.

I gotta tell ya Buckin' im hooked on your channel, thank you for all of the videos, your just a dang good human, I love the message you convey on here, my days now always include atleast one video watch on here keep um coming !!!
I've watched many of your videos and for me this is the best yet. I have looked at Donny porting and he seems to have a very simplistic approach. I'm way more technical (Too technical) But clearly its not how much you remove but what you remove. I'm getting the top end he is but I'm loosing the bottom and Donny has worked that out. My saws run more like the 462 in this video. I could see as soon as you hit the wood the 572 was the winner. It's exhaust note and watching you flex on it made it was obvious he has got that build dialed in. I was also very impressed with the Echo. I watched the video Donny did where he showed us the inside and too me I thought it had some real potential. If I CNC some bigger side plates it could really come to life but until I get one and pull it down to measure it up I can't say for sure. Great video Bucking I really appreciate it, I particularly like how you work the saws in different ways to really demonstrate there power and of course the enthusiastic commentary. Don't change a thing.

We are all so lucky to get to watch and learn with these guys
Echo has never let me down and I love my Huskys
This is awesome thanks for bringing us to walkers... i almost had em do a woods port on my 7300, but ended up doing it local. Next saw though....
What a fun side trip, Walker saw shop, 3 nice saws and a log GREAT FUN ! Thanks
indeed thx
Absolutely love this mans attitude not enough buckins in the world keep up the work bud you inspire a lot of us
God bless you Buckin!
No it didn’t
No just no
That Sthil sounds awesome.
That Stihl sounds so good
The STIHL sounds and looks like it has a bark box from West Coast Saw
Allll yea.. ripper
@@kiernanb9445 Just put a bark box on my 661 with Maxx flo air kit. It definitely barks
I would agree with Chris.. Sthil is a great saw. Maybe the best.. But a Husky feels better in my hands. Maybe it's the rebel in me. 💪
Was that Stihl stock? I couldn't see a Walkerized sticker, and the muffler looked stock also.
My old Husky 359 kicked the bucket. Ended up buying the Echo CS620PW 27". I'll break it in slow and easy before modding, save for changing out the stock air filter and carb adjust to 11k rpm. Rebuild the 359 on a stormy day in February for a back up.
We got the same saw.
I see two fellas on the top of their game. The guy who builds em and the guy who runs em. When i get a saw built I'll totally send it to Walker's, he really cares about what he does and listens to the customers!
Awesome saws. I'd say either would put a smile on your face out in the woods.
I’m a husqvarna guy for life, but that walker 572 is crazy. Beauty job Donny! Love you all! I’m not a Stihl guy. But it did ok lol that echo is purdy
I’m a huge Echo fan these days! Still love Husqvarna too and old Homelite (what my dad run logging when I was a kid).
I use my Echo mostly for milling and boy does it just run and run.
The echo sounds awesome with that port work, but the Bark Box on that Stihl... eargasmic
You seriously can't help but to be absolutely stoked watching your videos 🙌
Hey, Buckin I am 78 and still swinging several C/S including a couple of Stihls, which I am very pleased with.
good man
That sthil is a beast.
Thats odd. Not 1 issue with 572. Super torque. Hardwood in nwest Wisconsin.
Nice! Thanks for sharing your passion and wisdom with us Buckin!
Thank you for the good words about Echo. I was beginning to think this way. But wanted confirmation.
I have had a couple Echo items. But this sets me on a firm path. Thanks.
Happy to hear that you love doing what you do. I wish you a blessed day.
What a great video! Buckin’ you guys helped me make my decision on which saw to buy. I’m going with the Echo due to the price point. It’ll be shipping to Walkers immediately to get Walkerized. Thanks for your positive attitude and message. You’re making a real impact on folks my friend!
All great saws! I run a ms462 and love it. Thanks for antother great video Buckin'
I don’t know about the 7310 but I have 2 if the echo 590 Timberwolf and for the money you can’t beat them on average around here 400 buck out the door for a 60 cc saw isn’t bad I think there 420 with the 24 inch bar and I also love the huskies
Plus a 5 year warranty in the saws made in Japan its the Subaru of the saws.
The 590 is basicly a Husqvarna455 Rancher. If the 590 cost that much id suggest looking for a 455 instead it might even have a little more performance
MAN THAT ECHO SOUNDS GREAT!!!!!!
Sounds like the old 0 series from Stihl, the saws that made them what they are as a brand name. The 034,036,044,064,066,088.
You need to start using that 572xp on a daily and let us know how it holds up. Excellent video, thanks
Stihl did the fastest cut (9 seconds) sounds the best too ✌🏼
I think the Stihl may be stock, I sure couldn't see a "Walkerized" sticker.
Doesn’t surprise me
@@nathanadrian7797 ported
smaller wood round,, sounds great, great saw, but on this day took 2nd place
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith maybe so Buckin but we are splitting hairs here eh ? ... a guy “wood” fair well with either the 572xp or the 462c
I enjoy comparing resumes with the "no professionals use echos" crowd. My 620pw runs with my 440 magnum and 661 all day.
I feel same way
Buckin! I just picked up a 7310. I am super excited to see how she pulls. Running a 32 on her. I cut firewood, a lot of hard maple and cherry.
when that saw has a few more tanks of gas through it that thing is going to be a beast great video see you on the next one
Agree totally, the whole time Buckin was getting on em I was thinking how nice they are gonna run once those rings are good and seated.
Yep after about 4 tanks of gas the power about doubles
These guys are awesome. I wish i could run a power saw everyday of my life.
Good to hear you pronounce Stihl the same way we do here in UK , a lot guys on your side of the pond pronounce it Steel , they’re all good saws but cut me and I bleed orange and white , STIHL all the way , rubbish weather here in UK , snow rain , and your getting summer .
i live in ny and been runnin saws dam near 30 yrs and have never heard any one call em "steel"
@@chuckbailey6835 Pronounced steel , as opposed still ! Many Americans and Canadians pronounce them steel !
Sweet cuts, those saws were sweet! enjoyed it! Hope you an the family are doing great and staying healthy!
Doug
Loved the video friend. Awesome. Was on nights last night and the frist thing I did when i got up was watch you channel. Sets me up for the rest of the day. Your the man ✊. Keep it strong. 👍🌳🤝
Love to see a drone following you up a tree bud
Loud powerful machines, but you have found your inner peace there. Love it 🤘🏻
I work for the Maine DOT and all we had were Husky 51's or 353's, they were amazing unkillable saws.
All great saws, just to point out over 1k for the stihl n husky under 1k for the echo just saying TTG
Man that saw is tuned wow
Awesome work
Happy Thursday friends, it will be a good day, got my daughter a new bike, just donated 2 truckloads of split wood to single moms around my valley, delivered and stacked of course. Page right outa the buckin handbook :-) I’m just feelin stoaked today friends just a all around good day.
Yeah buddy! GO Army GO❣🤜🤛
💪❤👍
Thx for sharing
7310 will be my next saw purchase. Waiting for this Indiana weather to warm back up a little first.
WOW what a beautiful day to be putting the hammer down! I think I like that third one the best.
I bought a 572 last winter. I'm no saw pro like a bunch of ya. Only really had huskys. I did have a late 660, but all husky and I love the 572.
Thank you for all the great videos and sharing your experiences and giving advice. My son and I just started watching your videos he has become an axe fanatic 🤣
great video! love my Husky! just got a new 550 XP M2! shes a beast!
Hi BR
I love my ECHO saws and of course my 7310! ECHOs are my first choice, near followed by Husqvarna. Dolmar is unlikly out of business. My heart brand 🥰 .
Stay safe, healthy and be kind.
Best regards, Dirk
I gotta tell ya Buckin' im hooked on your channel, thank you for all of the videos, your just a dang good human, I love the message you convey on here, my days now always include atleast one video watch on here keep um coming !!!
Hey buckin its chis kennedy from Virginia i like the videos on everything you inspired me to handle an axe that i found at the bump.
That stihl is a beast
Greg Odom likes his Echo saws. Always nice to visit Walker's! Power saw mecca!
Wow , a shop full of fun and happiness
Must head over some time.
Don't change a thing.
watched since 6000 subs. carpenter but love chainsaws ands don't get to use them enough. I like stihl myself but watching you i think cutting wood unites us.
indeed it does
That Husqvarna walked the both of those saws no problem! Stihl did well also, great content Buckin!
I agree 👍🏻
Just bought a Echo 501p. Love it. Sold my 261!
I have a 7310. Ported by mweba it runs awesome 👌
