Quick question how to properly switch out a old h.o.b for a new one if you have too? Any info would be great thanks
If it’s the same model, put in the old media.
If it’s a different model, put in pieces or parts of the old media in the new filter, and make sure the new media is after the old media so bacteria transfer will be faster.
If its an old established tank with plants that is not overstocked, you can just switch it and not worry about using old media.

No concerns if/ when mixing the two lines of purple mosaics ??? I’m finding when two strains of the same thing mix they will never breed true by gen 3
They are from the same batch, so it shouldn't matter.

Love the video. You have to go see that Newark airport these days Michael. They revamped the hell out of it a few years back. They were done with all of it long before LGA started their upgrade. Which was also badly needed. FUll disclosure- Recently retired Continental/United airlines flight attendant here. Was based in Newark before they revamped it(complete poop back then) and after. I think I was their just over 12 years total. Great looking fish! I'm going to be pulling the trigger on a fish order soon from you bud. Just waiting on my $mula$ .

My female bristlenose plecos anus becomes inflamed, as if their stomachs are full of eggs. They do not mate. It is as if a male fish is beating them into the cave. And after a while they die from inflammation. Can you help me?
