You plan to do one thing, then realize there’s a slight upgrade you can obtain to make things more efficient. Then you realize to make getting that item, there’s an achievement diary that makes it faster. But wait, you must do this before doing that. It’s a love/hate relationship
Especially for the reason she did - to access the Taverly Dungeon shortcut to Blue Dragons, purely because she heard that's where you're supposed to grind Magic 😭😭

As a long time player of OSRS, I am so excited but also scared about this. There are so many little things that can go wrong. Especially for someone streaming the game. Just to list a few: -Not using Runelite would be an immediate minus (main launcher is way better than a few years ago but still not as good) -In game chat filters (probably set all of them to friends because people will spam all kinds of things) -Understanding how worlds work and how to world hop to avoid people (also friends only private chat to prevent people following you through world hop) -The danger of right click roulette (player names can be very inappropriate sometimes, only might matter for streaming) -Other settings like turning roofs off in the game ( I'm sure chat can guide them to this one) -Knowing what to do (They aren't going to play for 2k hours, so you can't set raids or end game bossing as a realistic goal. personally realistic goals for newer players are more like [Wintertodt, Tempoross, Scurrius, Dragon Slayer 1, Base level 25, 100 Quest Points] I think any one of these is achievable within under 10 hours, but still require game knowledge to achieve. Ideally I'd see them go for quest capes, but I am well aware that is a dream not a likely situation. -Trading (People will be giving them so much free stuff (assuming they play main accounts and not iron/group iron) I hope the giveaways don't take more time than them doing content) -Use the wiki (nobody knows everything about this game and we have the best wiki out there for any game. I hope they use it for things they don't know or are curious about) If any of them have actually played the game enough to understand some of these problems, all my worries are gone, but from how Fauna described her experience, she wasn't too far in. Really hope it turns into a fun experience and they play more than one time. Will be there following along and alching my piles of loot
Makes me wonder how Vox did it back then, but also I think they did have mod perms so he could avoid issues very easily. As for the actual stream content, I think they don't have to follow any specific goals considering it's a sandbox game so they can just treat it as a chill background thing like she does with minecraft.
@@tytanyx I don't mind them just chilling, but even in minecraft there is a goal (finishing the world tree) and its nice to see some progress however small being made toward that goal. A goal might not be necessary, but it definitely makes games like runescape significantly better if you have one.
