We can't believe it took us this long to play this game! We also wanted to address a few things: 1. Sadly this is not the Scholarship Edition :( 2. We didn't realize until after our entire playthrough of the game that our facecam was blocking the map (we're so sorry!) We hope this doesn't ruin the experience too much! @@iaamiam2898 Scholarship Edition is not as good as everyone likes to believe. The extra classes aren't fun aside from Music which is just Chemistry but easier. The rewards you get from those classes(aside from Geography) are gag clothes that makes everyone laugh at you which in turn makes it so you can't get the health boost from kissing. As for the extra missions, they're not very entertaining, especially the Rudy and townie ones. Not to mention doing Biology with a controller is damn near impossible unless you know exactly what to do and where to go, and the game itself is so buggy that unless you're playing on Windows with all the fan made patches, you're going to continuously lose progress due to crashes even when you save every 5 minutes. The only good part about Scholarship Edition is the graphics are a bit better but they both still look relatively the same.

So much nostalgia with this one! There was nothing like the Rockstar Games of the 2000s. They consistently released banger after banger. They still obviously release amazing games now, but the rate at which they produced them during my childhood and adolescence years was absolutely insane.

@@10colej I disagree. Michael Unsworth (the writing director) and Rupert Humphries are both still at Rockstar and were just as influential as Dan was in the success of their most successful games. Including RDR2. While Dan’s absence may have an impact, I still believe GTA 6 will be another game changer for the industry and that the writing will be just as good or better than RDR2. Besides, I think most of 6’s story was probably written by the time he left. I also still have hope we may one day see Bully 2. Imagine a sequel with the RAGE engine graphics! I recommend watching an interview on the UA-cam channel SWEGTA, where he interviewed one of Bully 2’s old project leads. He described what the game would’ve been and it sounded amazing!

I was always a fan of half-ass dressing like each clique during their chapters. I wore the astronomy club vest for the first chapter. The aquaberry stuff during the prep chapter. A leather jacket during the greaser chapter. Basketball jersey during the jock chapter.
I was exactly the same ,just wished the chapter's were locked to a certain clique ,because you would have a nerd task while I was wearing an Aquaberry vest but it was fine. Also bought every clothing item & tattoo once I was expelled I lived off campus ,lucky I past every class and was done with school. Started wearing Hoodies ,Jeans and Bandanas and rocking Tattoo's like a bad boy. 😅

I'm so glad you guys are experimenting with the clothes, almost every playthrough I've watched are so concerned with getting "busted" for not wearing the school uniform so they stay in school clothes the entire playthrough. You won't actually get in trouble, you'll just have the staff and prefects make comments about it. There's so much variety of clothes in this game that I'm always excited to see what people tend to pick.
This was such a fun game back in the day, when I didn’t know what rockstar was about. Knowing now what they’re capable of makes this seem like such a stepping stone for them.
This is the only Rockstar game, I will ever complete. I played it for the first time last year and I was surprised by everything. Yes, the controls are a bit janky, but the rest was fun. I’ve always hated this take. It’s literally not. It’s uniquely its own thing. The art style, the music, the dialogue, the combat, the setting, the stereotypes of nerds, greasers, preps, jocks, shit like the perverted coach etc. if this game wasn’t made by rockstar nobody would say this shit

This game is absolutely hilarious and a piece of work! I remember vividly when it released, how a bunch of people who know nothing about videogames started preaching about this game and how horrible it was without even playing one second of it, leading to massive complains to rockstar in the entire EU. It got so freaking bad they actually had to change the name in the european version: _Canis Canem Edit_ which was simply retarded. It really affected sales, overall, I believe, even if its a great game where EVERYONE is bullying Jimmy, not the other way around. It's funny because no one complained about GTA San Andreas when it's literally a game about gangbangers.
Funny that you said the music reminds you of warriors when rockstar made a warriors game. You should play it, its storyline was made by the writer of the movie. So you get the full context including how the gang started. The main story is also co-op so you can both play.

If you like bully you should play the warriors on ps2. its made by Rockstar and is heavily based on the 80s movie the warriors, you play as a street gang in the 80s. or if you can get a hand on a copy of manhunt by Rockstar play a brutal gory version of the Rockstar game experience.

Not a spoiler but tip for the future. Each faction/clique you fight has a different fighting style Nerds: (bright green vests) are not much fighters they'll mostly run away. Bullies (guys in the plain white shirts.) Will try to fight you one on one, or sometimes they're in a group but they're not to worry about Preps (rich kids) got a boxing style so they'll dodge some of your punches. Greasers are heavy attackers. Jocks will swarm you. Townies (kids with orange and tattoos outside of the school areas) a mixture of jocks and greasers.
Yeah against the stronger opponent's use either the grapple or the uppercut to break there posture (blocking) it's easy once you know what to look for. 👍
By the way there is another edition of the game your playing the PS2 version there is a bully scholarship edition which is the same game except more classes , missions and teachers you get 4 more classes

Eric & Sarah the scholarship edition has more bugs, but has 2 classes you cant attend plus a couple bonus items.
