  • Maya Adam is a medical doctor who has taught at Stanford since 2009. Her courses on child health and nutrition are offered through the Program in Human Biology. Adam's online courses have generated a community of more than 60,000 international students. At the School of Medicine, she produces online content for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded project, "Re-imagining Medical Education." In 2013, she created the online Stanford course, Child Nutrition and Cooking. This massive open online course aims to prevent childhood obesity by inspiring a return to simple home cooking. In 2013, Adam also founded Just Cook for Kids, a nonprofit organization that creates and shares educational videos on healthy eating and cooking for families. Before attending medical school, Adam was a professional ballet dancer for ten years at the State Theater of Saxony in Germany. She is also the mother of three young children.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

And everybody is shining and smiling and having a wonderful time... I'm getting a 'too perfect its almost creepy' vibe. Otherwise good, always cook meals youself if you can.

I need like 1 hour to cook and the my family eat all in like 10 min. Its a bit frustrating.

Same here but maybe you can see it a little bit more positive by thinking: if they eat it so fast they probably like it, so I m a great cook. Also cooking is somewhat relaxing after a working day in the office (at least for me) ;)

Yes ! There is absolutely no need for carbohydrates in the human diet! No grains , no fruits, no potatoes and no added sugars! The LCHF diet is awesome , eat bacon and bacon and lose weight .
