Quars are so cool bc they look like little dudes playing war. The clash between the cartoonish style of the builds and Quars against the brutality of war. You see a quar with a rifle? Cool, he looks funny. The moment later you see a Quar all bandaged up that is missing a limb... And you remember they are still sentient beings, that hurt each other, humanizing them with the pain and cruelty of war that us too make
Thank you for all the Quar content. It is so refreshing to NOT have everything dipping in skulls and angst like WH. I am going to get the starter set, even if I can't find someone to play it with. I collect models because model collecting is a fun hobby in its own right.
If your not interested in playing, find a sprue seller in your territory and get the plastic for a third of the cost. [Sprueshop in the UK is my preferred local service provider]
Today I received my book: "western iron", and there is a new video about Quar tractors on your channel... if I only had some baguettes in my backpack it would be a perfect day!
Great video! Always love seeing the new Quar videos - the temptation to pick it up is growing day by day. Just gotta... slay the grey I already got, lol. As a sucker for weathering, I also gotta admit: I love what you did. The vast majority of it's quite subtle, but it's also quite effective. Looking forward to the next!
Kinda cool how you can drsw parallels from tractors of the quar to the frenches armor doctrine during ww2, an older design updated a bit but ultimately struggles against more modern machines
Need you to know that I binged your Quar videos and bought the starter set as well as went to my LGS and got some paints. I've never been into war games but I just love these videos too much as well as the world of quar. Thank you for giving me a new hobby to blow my money on
I love the designs of quad tractors. In the books there are some very original ones that I would like to have in “physical” form to paint (like the Fynrydhad scout tractor, or the ikyth gun tractor).
I've been on a binge watch of your older videos and I've liking how informative you are, oh do I wish I could purchase a box of quar crusader infantry but I could always wait until my birthday and I could introduce my friends to quar and also I love your painting looks so nice and have a very nice day, your videos make me smile.

This tractor like most or maybe all Quar Tractors are based on WW1 tanks as you said. This one is a combo of the Mark IV British Tank and the Saint-Chammond French Tank. Mostly that front facing main gun for Chammond and the Track placement for Mark IV
Hei! Thank you so much for being my first time I've ever heard about Quar! I have a little question. How free one is when it comes to painting uniforms? Like can I give f. e. creevish grey uniforms with green spots?
@@MishMashPainting Thanks:3 I only have this collection of paints: Mechanicus standard grey, Wraithbone, Khorne Red, Caliban green and Iron Hands steel, one layer paint - Warpstone glow, one contrast - Skeleton Horde and one shader - Nuln. Guess for who? Blackshields:) I don't plan to expand since painting hasn't been going to good for now and I'm only finishing ten dudes after half a year...
Good for thought: white pedrails. Natural latex is white, maybe the Coftyran are so bad off they can’t add carbon? Idk, I use any excuse to go against the grain
