You could always run some of these as Chosen, if wielding fancier weapons is a bother. They combine all manner of boltguns and "Accursed Weapons" together. Then maybe bulk out the Legionaries with actual Mk III armor marines, while keeping the kitbashed Death Guard models for higher value units.

If you want stick grenades just get some ww1-ww2 kits and as a bonus the dudes left behind can be ok guard bases .

I think Milliput might have been better than spru goo or greenstuff in this case for filling in the holes, as it's more sandable and can be thinned by working in a little water as you mix it... or a Milliput greenstuff mix.

God, I still wanna get my Iron Warriors project going but the fuckin Etsy seller hasn't replied back to me on the Pauldrons I bought back in August. Worst part is that it says delivered but I never received it. Just some scavenger Pauldrons that look like MKIII but with a bunch of satchels and holsters, might as well get some MKIII bits and and combine em with the majority of satchels from my Space Marine bits.

as a iron warrior enjoyer, i must say this conversions looks amazing, and got to remember there is a lot of IW warbards, some of which are dedicated to some chaos god, soo its not rare to see a khrone berserker IW, plague marine etc

Not particularly a fan of the belly plate on non-DG: too signature, I think. Still, they look great! That said, I love that you paint their lenses blue. I personally do green, but I respect that choice immensely.

Love the models Mish! Denurgleing looks time consuming but really worth it in the end. Would really love some fitting 40k cataphractii or Saturnus Terminators as well, maybe DG terminators, death shrouds or lord of virulence?
