Nah that motif was apart of the theme of RDR1, and in a way John. Woody Jackson brought it back in RDR2's epilogue since it was important pieces in John's story, not really about the gang.
Has anyone else noticed how the remix in rdr2 is super action packed and this one is slower it's almost like before in rdr2 he was still that famous gunslinger but he let go of that but this one is saying it's still in there
@Purple Guy stop being aggressive and become more tolerant, "jack shit". RDR and GTA are different games and genres. Their story is different. aq ua is right. What games were there before rdr? Only gta sa, vice city and III and they have nothing to do with rdr.
I love the atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption 2 has absolutely beautiful graphics, level of detail and open world but for 2010 Red Dead Redemption was as ground breaking as Red Dead Redemption 2 and has aged gracefully in the last 14-ish years. Two masterpieces of storytelling and open world that stand tall against all the crap Ubisoft and other companies keep putting out.
RDR1 atmosphere felt so uncomfortable. You truly felt isolated and vulnerable in a dying age. Especially Tall Trees and those damn Grizzly Bears. Truly, no other game like it. To this day, 1911, John Marston is my favorite character out of the whole franchise. A fed up pissed old Gunslinger tearing the Old West a New One. Him Praticaly being a tied turning one Man Army in Mexico was enough for me Tobe sold on him being the most Badass Gun Slinger of them all
RDR2 fans really need to realize that the motif was just brought back for the epilogue because it was John coming to who he was in Red Dead 1, I think retroactively trying ot fit Arthur into everyone John does just doesn't work out well, ever.

Data Not Found Please Try Again they were extremely good for their time up until like a new western game, so far no western game to even remotely compete against red dead redemption, lmao I think red dead redemptions only competitor will be its prequel in 2018.
This song is cut into 4 parts that I think represent different parts of the story. The first part with the chorus I think represents John's time in New Austin. The second part with the trumpets I think represents John's time in Mexico. The third part with the guitar I think represents his time in West Elizabeth up until his death. The fourth part with chorus, trumpet, and guitar together I think is Jack's Revenge.
The fact that this took place in 1911, but had the perfect mix of a modern and western feel instead of a GTA-style game, literally wins me over every time
I love this game so much. Simply a work of art. One of the best things about it is that its similar but at the same time very different from gta. RDR has a very deep emotional story that made everyone who played it feel very different inside. Plus unlike gta there wasnt a ton of perversion throughout the game. There was pretty much none. 10/10 Best game of all time.

The cover art of Red Dead Redemption is shown in the last parts of Jim Milton Rides Again, in Epilogue part 1, where you assault hanging dog ranch, now occupied by the Laramies. American Venom also plays in Jim Milton Rides Again.
