@Purple Guy stop being aggressive and become more tolerant, "jack shit". RDR and GTA are different games and genres. Their story is different. aq ua is right. What games were there before rdr? Only gta sa, vice city and III and they have nothing to do with rdr.
Has anyone else noticed how the remix in rdr2 is super action packed and this one is slower it's almost like before in rdr2 he was still that famous gunslinger but he let go of that but this one is saying it's still in there
2:08 So whenever we hear this theme playing as John Marston, means he is remembering his lost friends and the old days. It means he is so serious and focused on delivering justice.
Nah that motif was apart of the theme of RDR1, and in a way John. Woody Jackson brought it back in RDR2's epilogue since it was important pieces in John's story, not really about the gang.
Since Wild Guns. And before that, Gun.smoke. Bet ya didn't know Red Dead Revolver was gonna be a Gun.smoke game. Bet ya didn't know what the fuck Gun.smoke is.
Data Not Found Please Try Again they were extremely good for their time up until like a new western game, so far no western game to even remotely compete against red dead redemption, lmao I think red dead redemptions only competitor will be its prequel in 2018.
This song is cut into 4 parts that I think represent different parts of the story. The first part with the chorus I think represents John's time in New Austin. The second part with the trumpets I think represents John's time in Mexico. The third part with the guitar I think represents his time in West Elizabeth up until his death. The fourth part with chorus, trumpet, and guitar together I think is Jack's Revenge.
I love this game so much. Simply a work of art. One of the best things about it is that its similar but at the same time very different from gta. RDR has a very deep emotional story that made everyone who played it feel very different inside. Plus unlike gta there wasnt a ton of perversion throughout the game. There was pretty much none. 10/10 Best game of all time.
I reckon too play max payne series and mgs series. You would like i too. RDR a masterpiece. Atmosphere, storyline, music, characters, character develp. etc like max payne and metal gear solid Max Payne, Solid Snake, Naked Snake(solids dad) & John Marston FTW!
I love the atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption 2 has absolutely beautiful graphics, level of detail and open world but for 2010 Red Dead Redemption was as ground breaking as Red Dead Redemption 2 and has aged gracefully in the last 14-ish years. Two masterpieces of storytelling and open world that stand tall against all the crap Ubisoft and other companies keep putting out.
People who played RDR2 first before RDR1; “I think this song is a reference to AAARRRFFFFYYHTUTTTTTTUUUURRRRRR……, man the ATTTENNTITIONN TOOO DEEETAAILLLL…..”
@@alcapone4635 Arthur is an interesting character, but the way they present him in the game is too preachy, tbh. John was just a guy who wanted his family back, & was doing a job. Arthur is practically the second coming & "Dutch! You've changed!" Even the morality part is irrelevant besides price changes at stores & Arthur speaks "ughhh... in a gruff and angry voice!"
At the motherhood mission in the epilogue when John put on his cowboy outfit and rode away from pronghorn I muted the music and played this as he rode to valentine.
RDR2 fans really need to realize that the motif was just brought back for the epilogue because it was John coming to who he was in Red Dead 1, I think retroactively trying ot fit Arthur into everyone John does just doesn't work out well, ever.
I only watched and observed my father (God rest his soul) play Red Dead Redemption on the PS3 when I was between 12-14 years old, and I honestly don't remember him finishing the game. (Note: He's been gone since '15, and I miss him). I began playing RDR last month on my XBOX, and I'm still in Mexico. Let's just say, "Capitán Vicente De Santa is dead, and I am getting close to finding Javier Escuella." Edit: Javier Escuella has been captured, Bill Williamson is dead, and Dutch Van Der Linde committed suicide, yet his corpse was shot.
I thought that it was the other way around and those theme are actually based off this? Oh how I wish GTA5 exist at the same time as this game. That way this "prequel" would have got the attention it deserve.
FamilyGuyStuffs Many people feel that but from a narrative state, a Greek tragedy-esque story invoking the son's anger to get revenge on a truly rotten man for his father is truly poetic.

In just those first few missions, he makes some really questionable decisions, and puts forth some really questionable ideas -stuff that’s inline with how he acts at the end of the game, if a bit more subtle- and is really kept in check by the gang members around him. They’ll say to him, “Hey maybe that’s not such a good idea,” and he’ll respond with basically, “Yeah maybe you’re right.” The thing is as the game goes on, and as he loses those people keeping him in check, he becomes more and more unwilling to listen to those that are left, especially when Hosea is killed. Hosea was one of the few people who could really talk him down from a bad idea, and without Hosea to keep his impulses in check, and with the grief of losing Hosea on top of that, he finally loses his inhibitions. He starts refusing to listen to anyone unless they agree with him. And I feel that’s the way he always was, it was just hidden because of all the people around him who kept it in check. He wasn’t the greatest gang leader of all time, he had just put together the best gang of all time.

The whistle is the one thing that Red Dead redemption 2 is missing to have a good ambience.
