Amazing as always, always love that you add the price as so it's a base to go off of. I just got done calculating all the ingredients in my pink champagne cupcakes and my head wants to explode 🤯 lol Thank you thank you
I am in the mist of learning all about macrons and so far have spent almost $100 just in equipment and product. Adding those on the cake was a expensive choice and can run at about $3- $4 per cookie. You have made so many different shapes also so just in that alone brings the cake to a certain price point as well. TY
Wow soooo beautiful!!! 😍😍 I've been wanting to sell cakes from home also ( not nearly as good as you lool) but did you have tongt a license and such? I'm in Ontario Canada and I was looking into cottage law. I'm not sure how to go about this. Hoping you might have some info 😊 Beautiful work as always!!
For the business license itself it works differently from province to province. You can make a certain threshold before you need to apply. The main thing is obtaining your food safe and making sure your kitchen or commercial kitchen is considered up to the health standards of your region:). Good luck with it!!
This cake is simply beautiful! Always appreciate your willingness to share your tips & secrets to making a better cake. Thank you so much!♡

Yes! I wish when I was starting out someone told me how to price cakes properly. I think I used to undercharge by the hundreds! You are welcome :)

Great video 😊
Thank you so much, April!
What depth are your pans? 3 inches? Your cakes look taller than my 2 inch pans in the same size which is why I ask.
I have a mix of a few sizes, but I do try to maintain as much cake height and build up with buttercream as much as possible.
I live in Ottawa and can’t seem to find 4 inch cake boards anywhere! Where do you get yours? Same thing for Americolors.
I find them all at my local cake store! Amazon has a TON of options though for cake boards as well :)
May I ask what cake pans you used?
Fat Daddio is my go to!
Thank u ❤
I'm my country this would be about 900.$
Wow! Whereabouts are you from?
What is that liquid you put on the cake to keep it moist?
Just a simple syrup! 1:1 ratio of hot water and granulated sugar
