Depends on which Mika is being talked about, because there are multiple vtubers with a name like that. I am honestly confused with what is going on. There is one vtuber with the name Mika I know of on the spot, and if it is her, Vshojo is in deep trouble, though from memory that particular Mika wasn't from Niji so probably not her.

I mean on one hand...VShoujo Members HAVE been stealing from Existing Agencies. It makes the most sense.
On the other hand, on the off chance it's NOT who we think it is, that would be kinda messed up.
Even if it's not, they'll still get a lot of publicity, and I think in the end people will adjust.

Aia spoke well. People don't know her. If she wants out, harassing her won't speed up the process. If she wants to stay as she said, leave her alone. She's an adult, not a child. I honestly hate how we moved from disapproving of Nijisanji's decisions, to constantly pressuring the talents for no reason ("for their own good" is not valid, it's a flimsy excuse to justify your owb toxicity). Laugh at the merch, laugh at the concerts, laugh at the orthographic errors, but don't go changing narratives, bothering the livers or purposely entering fights with the fans. So bothersome.
The problem imo is the severity of the situation. this isn't some petty drama, this is criminal behavior. Sure she's innocent but to stay with Niji after being informed of what they've done so far is damning in itself. I don't like this term cause it's often used poorly, but anyone staying with Niji at this point is "Guilty by association". I don't agree with people hating on her in the way they do, but i also don't support her standing by niji's side. This is a rare black and white, cut and dry situation here. There is no 2 way street for this issue. There are people who value human life and people who don't.

Since everyone’s talking about the Mika topic, I’ll avoid that and talk about the Aia Amare situation. It’s great to support the livers still in there and I do hope she graduates, but there is very much such a thing as too much. Basically harassing them to get out of the agency isn’t the way to go and might easily backfire and make them believe staying in Niji is the best course of action due to spite.
Agreed. She's more or less the only Niji EN liver I still watch. I'm gonna enjoy the ride from start to finish, regardless of what happens.

Also when there is a whole group of people who idolize the company 'backing you' when your in it even if they don't watch your streams, it makes the 'rando's' messages seem like going indie would open you up for MORE harassment. People are targeting you because they hate the company but what about if you leave?
There isn't that 'shield' anymore to either mentally chalk up the hate to the rando's hate for the company (and thus it maybe easier to try and either do mental gymnastics to rationalize backlash form your poor behavior or rationalize the unjustified hate/harassment you recieve when the company/someone in it messes up) and you would lose the 'support' from the company's fans who push back against the haters, all of which would make you feel more vulnerable imo. Also you may get harassed by the company's fans for leaving, so your support would turn an 'enemy' in a way potentially.
This would make people feel more afraid to leave. Also there is a good chance Niji EN will tank either way so why not let them ride out the rest of their (the 'good' members) time as long as possible so they can still pay their rent and live, and save up for a re-debut when time comes, if it comes. The harassment will only cause burn out and unnecessary stress for the person they are trying to 'help' (who are still under the clutches of the contract and, especially for newer members like aia, scarle and the newer waves, don't have the ability to barter/negotiate their contract like older members, like pre-Noctyx level, so people harassing them to leave are literally putting them in a 'rock and a hard place' situation).

Doki has often complained about wishing she could just be an "anime girl" and not always dealing with the business decisions that come with being your own boss. An agency can help lighten that load.

It's definitely not Mika, on her pl account (her main now) she's posting about her new model in the works and a clip from the artist/rigger. Sadly most of Twitter isn't aware of that fact and they're going to be soo disappointed and probably angry that it's not her.

Secondly, I don't want to say that people are wrong for trying to save her and get to leave to a Toxic Company BEFORE she gets involved in Drama. On the OTHER hands...THREATENING someone like this is NOT OKAY!!

I used to really like Niji all those years ago, but this last year was filled with some degenerate rot that slowly made me not like the company. The Selen situation just solidified my want to see either massive reform or utter dissolution of this company.

Sadly because ex-Niji are really talented. Most indies that haven’t been popular yet(that I have watched) usually have reasons for it. They’re unrefined gems at best which need a good amount of training. So why bother when you can get someone like Mika out of the box? Though NijiEN is running out of stars anyway. Imo, only Scarle, Rosemi, Enna, Vivi and Petra are worth poaching, if they decide to leave Niji.

I want vshojo to bring someone that's actually fun. But then again it's nepotism hired that favors talent that sucks
How else would you really expect them to do it? I think a big part for them is they want to make sure that they will both mesh with the group right away or at least have someone they know so they don't feel isolated what better way then to bring in people who are somewhat connected to they current talents in some way or another. You skip the growing pains of a new wave all pretending to be friends when they all just met because they really are friends.
I also get the whole sentiment of people wanting Vshojo to be like a traditional Vtuber agency and start people out from scratch but they are a talent agency not a standard Vtuber agency people always forget that. That is why they don't take a cut of the streaming revenue. You made yourself Vshojo serves as a group to belong to. they provide Tech and legal support as well management and support for events(Both planned by you them and 3rd parties) They also bring you Sponsors you could not get on your own and they get you merch deals and sell it for you and thus take a cut of those that is really it. They are fairly hands off outside of that though unlike the big cooperate companies.

And we know who's the only vtuber to ever mention Ollie as her oshi so far (according to Ollie herself), and yep, it was Mika close to her graduation. Could be coincidence, but it would be funny if it's not

One of the membership streams that she did earlier into all of this really made me step back and recontextualize the situation, and I'm extremely grateful to her for it. I really hope anyone else who is genuinely upset about what happened with Selen takes some time to do the same and reflect on if their actions are contributing to making the livers feel unsafe. You can and absolutely should be critical of Nijisanji as a company, but if your actions detract from the mental or physical safety of the livers, you are creating more victims in an already bad situation. I do not want to see anyone pushed to the same breaking point that Selen had.

I think with watching Niji en streamers is people think that’s their way of saying oh I know this said streamer on like some type of personal level and with people saying like oh I’m doing this for your own good like Behind these characters are real faces flesh and blood with real world things That they’re going through like I don’t know with us, but yeah- sorry this is so much lol but also none of us know the reason, members join Niji in the first place like they could have money troubles, even though they get like 2% of profit, they’ve tried for like a year and gotten nowhere and stuff
