Its still crazy to think if A-chan wasnt there, Hololive would be so very different. A-chan is the reason Suisei kept going. she's been there for the idols for years. I hope she has a wonderful rest of her life, and she enjoys her well deserved rest

Hololive as we know it, wouldn't exist. It would not be a Vtuber company. It would have been a small tech company making motion capture gear.
With how foundational A-chan was to Hololive's founding in the first place I'm not sure it would even exist without her

In the past working from start to retirement in the same company was common. These days it's not as much of a thing. Most important is to stay in the same company for at least a couple years or risk being seen as unreliable.

They even let their talents to be on hiatus for almost a year and still have them. I guess A-chan just needs to move on to her next stage in life.

The woman who started it all, changed cover corp to what it is today. The co founder of hololive. She walked into cover 7 years ago and introduced the idea of vtubing to them(and who knows what would have happened to vtubers at all without her). Her impact is immeasurable. A very, very sad day.

"HoloEra A" seems like a fitting naming convention for this era of Cover Corp. What better way to honor the beloved A-Chan than by naming the era that she worked so hard on after her. Also, naming it after a prolific staff member and vTuber gives thanks to both sides. The collaboration between staff and talent IS the reason this Era is the way it is. A-Chan is not just beloved but also an icon, a symbol, of that well-loved partnership. Cover Corp is the beloved behemoth it is today thanks to her and what she represents.

This has hit me nearly as hard as Coco's graduation.
A-chan has always been here.. I thought that she would always be here as long as Hololive was around, or at least as long as Sora was around. Now I can't help but feel lonely for Sora, Nodoka and all the other people A-chan helped along the way. It makes me worry that perhaps next Sora would leave.. but the fact that Kanatan is still active after Coco left gives me hope that this will not be the case.
To be honest, it has always felt like there was a hole that opened up with Coco's departure that never really closed. Now with A-chan's departure.. it's just so hard to fill shoes that big, man. Hold your oshis close and appreciate their light while you can.

For longest time, she's the seconds in command for hololive. At least that's what the fans think.
She is one of the three pillars who made Hololive what it is today. Without A-chan Hololive as we know it would not exist. It would not be a VTuber agency. It would just be a small motion capture tech company. The other two people Holive would simply not exist without are Yagoo and surprisingly enough, Sora.

It kinda stung when I found out she was graduating/resigning from Hololive. It always felt like she would be a constant presence in the company, always there and never leaving.

6:30 New fans probably don't realize it but A-chan has done a tremendous job behind the scenes, without her we would indeed have lost many members over time, especially pre-2020 when things were really uncertain and talents have to figure out things by themselves.
Seeing all the messages she's received is a testament of how important she is, not only to Hololive but to the vtuber scene in general. Let's cherish her memories and wish her all the best for the future. We will definitely miss her!

It's a softer blow to know that she's leaving on good terms and not over any personal disagreements or issues with the company, that she's going to continue being a fan. No controversy, no hard feelings, just good memories and friendship. Hope her health improves and maybe, just maybe, she'll come back at some point in the future. I can't imagine Cover would refuse to welcome her back if she wanted to.
Suisei is also my kami-oshi, and I think that there's a lot of members who wouldn't be here if it wasn't for A-chan, I think she's just becoming a person that will make people do their best to make her proud, even if she's on the sidelines.

It will probably take a few more days for this to fully hit me. I always assumed she would keep learning more English, and we'd get to see her more often. Wasn't aware she was having difficulties in her private life. In retrospect, I did notice her missing from a few Hololive streams where I expected her to join in. I wish her the best, but I'm not gonna say goodbye forever. Who knows what twists and turns life gives you, maybe one day we'll get to hear from her again. So I'll just say, see you soon! まったね!
