Yasharn Stax deserves a chance in a real table! Selesnya may not be a regular competitive colors but they are the perfect colors for stax. Also, what you said about Yasharn ability of shutting off soooo many staples in the format is great. Really exited to see more about it.
I've been doing some fun stuff with Siona as a combo deck as well, and both her and Yasharn are showing some incredible stax effects while having loads of ways to win.
@@oateater5044 Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest. Enchant a basic land with Nest, tap it to make a squirrel, tap that squirrel to untap the land, tap it for a new squirrel, etc. You now have infinite squirrels to do whatever you wish with. If you have a sac outlet for instance, you can funnel them into that.
You know, something I really appreciate about this channel is just how lively you both are. The music and commentary cutaways are definitely the right call. Keep up the good work 💕
Favourite moment of all time at my table was 3 players having necropotince on the table and me playing the boar and all of them panicking to pay life before there card draw is shut off
I really love Yasharn, such a good card and I love that a hate*boar* is exactly the size of 2 hatebears stapled together (four mana 4/4 instead of 2 two mana 2/2s :D). Really satisfying lol Also at 13:33 the tropical island he just played doesn't have haste so it shouldn't be able to tap for mana since it's also a 1/1 creature. I totally get it tho, somehow you often forget about these kinda things with weird effects like that.
You can do it for sure. I have my nails painted 99% of the time. I’m taking off pink today and doing a matte black. Wear what you want and other people can get over it

just a techinal note. The delayed Force of will doesnt fizzle (Fizzle is when a spell loses all targets). Because it cant be even be casted. it's just stuck in the exile.
@@Hitzel The original spell is still in the exile. But Ertai's Meddling put a copy directily on stack. Then the copy will fizzle since it's target is no longer on stack.
I keep thinking that the Tazri deck should stick Oona in there if there's room as a backup wincon with infinite mana, since she is a Wizard you can get her with Tazri and then just Exile everybody's libraries.
Cam could've brazen borrower'd the luminarch ascension to turn it off for a couple turns at the minimum, and with only 2 other players left it would've been much harder for that to turn online. Maybe He needed the stax piece gone because of somthing in his hand I wasn't aware of?
I've watched a few of these videos. I like the game play. I think it would help if you guys put the players names in the corners, so when a player says they are attacking someone it's easier to follow what's going on cause the cute make it fast to watch at times. Great games though.
STOKED to see Yasharn the HATE BOAR put in that WORK. Been brewing it since it was spoiled for cEDH. The list played here is VERY close. Love the Luminarch Ascension mana sink. I found that I always had mana to play with so that's definitely going in my list. GG boys!
I have my own Tazri build currently and I play hour of devastation as a backup win con since when you go infinite you just ply a ton of creatures and make them huge. Plus I play a bit into the Stax side of things but not super heavily. I also have najeela as a backup with attrition for a win since so many creatures fit the warrior category by coincidence with what I’m trying to do. I found that Winota is a HUGE addition to the deck as well.
YESSS I love to see new and strange stuff in edh and cedh, even when it's not tier1 material. I put Yasharn in my Anafenza, the Foremost deck but I yet have to play it :( Glad to see it might absolutely pull off its weight. Omnath, as every Food Chain commander, is scary XD Might go off at any point in the game. I REALLY want to know what hand was that, to discard two tutors and pitch another to FoW. Zareth... yeah, UB is cEDH XD But i will say that its ability might be interesting! Yes, not that many permanents are put into the graveyards, mosty instants and sorceries, but that's before discarding (whispering madness and windfall!) and destroying stuff. Tazri with ONE win condition? I mean, any deck with just one wincon? That's a receipe for a bad time :O I also am surprised (pleasantly) with how many decent party creatures are out there. Nice games, nice decks. Brewing can be really fun! EDIT: randomly, a card popped off during a search. Mesmeric Trance. The card itself is not that good (sadly, cumulative upkeep is a sad mechanic), but the flavour text is PERFECT for this episode: "“Magic overused can freeze the mind. Creativity is more important than power.” -Zur the Enchanter" Lovely.

"Who is the best Dimir CEDH deck/commander." I know that Yuriko has to run a lot of subpar cards to be effective, but I also think her effect and it's consistency/resilience make up for it.
When your thassa’s oracle got countered you could’ve tapped the wizards to copy your force of will to net +1 counter and probably resolve the oracle and consultation
My tazri cedh build runs two infinite colorless mana lines, 2 colored infinite mana lines, thassa oracle, lab man , finale as all win cons and diviner wand and grenzo to draw my deck. It’s pretty strong surprisingly
I threw the pig in for advantage in my nethroi list, and i played him randomly. He proceeds to get the most groans from the table that turn lmao card is sweet. You guys the best for sure

I noticed on episodes in the past, theres one player that uses a Pokemon World Championship mat. I am a former competitive Pokemon Player and have played at multiple worlds. So I was wondering if that player used to play as well? Maybe I know them if they did.
just something I thought of, if the RULE OF LAW wasn't there, Dylan would've been able to make infinite mana with the dockside extortionist and barrin since there were 7 artifacts and enchantements. So he would've been able to sacrifice his last treasure and tap 2 mana to bounce dockside, then replay it. netting 7 treasures, sacrificing 2 treasures to activate barrin sacrificing a treasure as an additional cost. to wind up with 4 treasures and a dockside in hand.
Thoughts on Orah, Skyclave Hieroficant stacks with a Vito combo win? Been brewing a casual commander for him and turns out academy rector is a cleric and Vito is a cleric at less cmc so if he’s in the graveyard and you sac academy rector you can get both combo pieces to the field then you just have to gain life or make an opponent lose life. Seems like it could be decent
Quick question, why do you always hold priority and copy the spell with sigil tracer? Wouldn't it be better to see if someone tries to counter it and respond with the copy ability so you don't have to waste it? Is there something you're playing around that I'm missing?

No, doesn’t have a target. Even if there was no Rest In Peace on the field it still would’ve been exiled since you cannot cast a spell without targets.
Game 2, Tyler telling Cam to pay for Mystic Remora so he can get the Flooded Strand out of Dylan's yard for a land to replace the one he tapped for Fish is wrong. He can't use the land to make mana, since it's a fetch, and he can't fetch with it, because Yasharn is in play. So that's either bad advice, or Tyler trying to play Cam like a fiddle. Too bad it didn't work, the pained groan would have been fabulous.

Did you consider adding Najeela and Derevi to Tazri? It seems like a good include in case something happens to one of your combo pieces.
The 4 mana kor warrior that makes 1/1’s on etb equal to the party is actually super good for a backup when combined with najeela and such

Already added Yasharn to Derevi and after seeing all the pieces of good CEDH be completely useless, I just can't wait to test him out.
