I am hanifi sunni and I pay utmost attention to Imam Hanifi’s disclaimer. If a Hadith overwrites his verdict then I follow the Hadith, Way of Our prophet S.A.W is the only way.
People so often argue about little things in schools directions, as if they have complete order in the main things. But I have not yet seen a single person whose deeds would be in order in the face of God. Brothers! Please do not split into currents. I believe that we are all "ahl as sunnah wa jama-a" . Hanafi fiqah gives great scholars to world
All Ahle sunna wal jamma follow Quran and sunnah, the only difference is the understanding of it. I being a lay man trust and follow the understanding of Imam abu Hanifa and his students imam Muhammad and imam abu Yusuf .

Iman Abu Hanifa RA learned from more than 4000 teachers. He traveled intellectually. And that more important that travelling geographically.
Imam Abu Hanifa was actually a tabi'in having met Anas bin Malik and some scholars have mentioned he met many more Sahabah but this is not agreed upon.

Different opinion in Fiqih is acceptable and it's part of the beauty of Islam as long is not shirik, but when it came down to Aqidah there is only one way, *Laa illaha Illah Allah*

He met the sahaba directly, and hence has seen islam in true and purest form. No need to travel

I am a Hanafi but i like to follow all the greatest Imam not the specific one and like to follow the authentic Hadith's. Am I in wrong way or not, need suggestions.
There was an Islamic school established in kofa by Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mas'ood in the era of Hadhrat Umar,
Imam Abu Hanifa studied there,
He was a student of Imam Ja'afar Sadiq also
I respect all madhab and imams ☺️ and I'm a hanfi Muslim but alhamdulillah I never heard any any hanfi scholar nor any teacher saying against any other madhab or imam in fact we were thought to respect and found knowledge from other imams knowledge maybe I was lucky so I didn't meet any blindfolded believer or maybe you were unlucky that you met that kind of blindfolded believer. And yeah he (imam hanifa r.a.) met sahabi r.a so he didn't need to travel a lot
I'm not saying all this cuz I'm a hanfi Muslim if anyone says something for other imams I would respond like that I believe in Allah, his prophet. as Muslims we all are brothers and sisters in faith no hatred to anyone doesn't be a matter which madhab you are following all are correct and connect us with one faith

I also learn from hanafi method...but now I m also confuse about so many things...I will explain how I pray namaz ..2rakat...first I say..Allahuakbar...while raising my hands to my shoulder up..than I read (Shana)..subhana kalla humma wabihamdika wataba rakas muka wattaAalazadhuka walaelaha Giruk..than auzubillahiminash satoynir razim..than surah fathiha.adition another surah than ruku..I say subhana rabbiyal azeem..3 times than samiAllahuliman hamidah rabbanah lakal hamd than Allahu akbar while going 2 sajdahin we say subhana rabbiyal A'ala 3 times than again Allahuakbar while sitting i say rabbigfirli 1 2 or 3 times..than again Allahuakbar doing sajdah subhana rabiyal A'ala..3times..again Allahuakbar while getting up...now surah fathiha..adition any surah...now same thing just like all I write..after finishing last sajdah..I read tashahhod..attayatu lillahi...than durood e ibrahim than due E masura allahumma inni zalamthu nafchizulman kasirow..than salam..salah finish...now here the confusing part...I used to think our prophet Muhammad(sm)used to pray like that..but not I m not sure...is it permission in hanafi prayer while in prostation to make dua ruku n sajdah this is when u r close to Allah so ask for anything..but I also don't know it will go against sunnah...imeant in hanafi method...confuse

Referring to Quran and Sunnah over a dispute, what if the issue is something deep and not to be interpreted by a layman.
I'd rather blindly follow imam Abu hanifa then blindly interpret the Quran and Sunnah myself. Also Imam met four Sahaba in his life time. So was it necessary for him to travel. So I don't agree with sheik on this. But still I love sheik Assim
You say that as if those are the only two options. Follow the teachings of imam Abu Hanifa but not blindly. See whether those practices are in line with authentic Hadith. With a quick google search any layman can see whether a practice is in line with the Quran and authentic hadith

Most of sahaba moved from where they resided if we look at history.
Jazakallah khair Shaikh. This demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt that Imam Abu Hanifa did not travel; in fact, he never commanded him to follow him, saying instead, "Leave my saying if you find authentic hadith." You should make an effort to follow the hadith that all of these imams follow. These days, it's quite simple to do so because there are materials available to you that weren't available in the past.
I have seen people question Sahih Bukhari for supporting their own school of Thoughts .
May Allah Give us all Hidayat .
The Hanafi Madhab is not the mere rulings of only Imam Abu Hanifa Rahimahulla. When he said if you find any authentic Hadith which may affect the rulings given by me, it was addressed to his students like Imam Yusuf and Imam Muhammad Rahimahulla etc who themselves were great fuqaha and not to every Tom, Dick and Harry (or may be every Abdallah, Ibrahim and Nasurudin) who came in this or previous century to tamper with the Madhab or sit in Judgement of them. The rulings of these 4 fuqaha were edited by their authoritative students themselves on the basis of gudlines given to them by their Imaam whenever an authentic Hadith was found impinging on the rulings given previously. This was completed within a century or 2 by there authoritative students who were themselves fuqaha. Thus we find many rulings of the 4 Imams were changed by their aithoritative students subsequently. That age is now passed centuries back. The rulings of all the 4 Madhabs were deduced from Quran and Sunnah on certain basis which followed the patern and divergent rulings given by the authoritative Sahabah like Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas Radhiallahu Anhum etc and not the mere personal fancies of the 4 accepted fuqaha of the Ummah. It is wajib for the Ummah to follow one of these 4 Madhabs blindly as if not it will and is proving to open the gateway to anarchy in the deen. There are no fuqaha in this belated era having the capacity to derive rulings from the Quran and Hadith as all the hearts are tainted to a lesser or greater extent by the influence of modernity unlike that of the 4 great Fuqaha whose hearts were free of these influences. As foretold by Rasoolullah Sallalahu Alaihi wa Sallam my era (with Sahabah) the One after that (Tabieen) and the one after that (Taba Tabieen) are the Golden Ages of Islam. When the hearts were pure and free of un Islamic influences.Today their are voiceferous claims by the Pseudo Salafiyya that they are followers of the Salaf us Saliheen but the fact and Truth is that the true followers of the Salaf us Saliheen are the ones who rigidly follow one of the 4 Madhahib and the Pseudo Salafiyya and their so called Scholars are free lancers in Islam. May Allah Azza wa Jal give us correct understanding.

@@snakey5856 it's only Allah's right to make something Haram/Halal which is why anything the Prophet ﷺ made Halal or Haram he didn't do it because he felt like it but because it was the direct order of Allah. So you to say as a joke "make it halal" is Haram because you are mocking a right of Allah. And Allah knows best.

If anyone wants to learn islam, its better to avoid hanafee scholars . They are the furthest mazhab from the authentic sunna. I know people will hate me for saying this but this is the truth. I have never seen more Bid,a in any other mazhab than hanafees. They are giving a bad name to Imam Abu Hanifa himself, because he has told to follow quran and sunnah not to blindly follow him
