I think the answer is that the Quran and Hadith are all general knowledge from Allah the 4 imaams was given knowledge by Allah in order to interpret those general knowledge. And wallahu'alam

Like Matam, cursing, Mutah, and Taqiiyah? You guys need to follow the Ahlul Bait, and come out of this mentality. Did imam Malik and Shafii know hadith authentication studies? Musnad Ahmad has way more hadith then the other 3 and taught the 6 big hadith imams.
