Excellent answer, Islam is easy. Balance is essential, why wouldn't we want to increase in good deeds once we establish the fardh? You can increase once you at that level....But remembering what's mandatory is vital in maintaining ease and success.🎉
Praying 2 raqat before Fazar farad is very important....And also praying as many salat during Jummah prayer before and after 2 Fardh raqat is also very important
Never seen this on our mosque. We only perform Tahiyat al-Masjid Prayer. After that the call for prayer is being given when the prayer clock gives a sign that it's dhur time. After that the imam gives khutbah 30 minutes maybe. And then dua. And then we stand all up and pray 2 rakaat jumu'a. After that everyone goes away

(those are in addition to sunan al rawatib) at the end of the day you will have total of : 42 rakat , and if you do thajjud it will be 52-54 rakat . this is what i know , check again.
Yes it’s important but if you don’t do the Sunnah and Nawafil, you will not be sinful. The sunnah/nawafil prayers are not obligatory or mandatory Fard or Wajib.
Start with your fard prayers and try to perfect them, verily allah loves the fard prayers. When you get more steadfast add the sunnah prayers if you wish. Then add the witr prayer and finally add the night prayer if you can. Build yourself up slowly rather then try too much too soon and crash. And allah knows best.
As a habit, one sheikh said that you shouldn't make praying fardh the minimum. Consider 3 men: one prays fardh, sunnah and nafl, one prays sunnah and fardh, and one prays only fardh. Our Imaan goes up and down. If the first and second person's imaan goes dowm they have the sunnah or the fardh to fall back on. The third person who prays fardh - he does not have anything to fall back on and will fall short of the the obligatory amount of salah. With proper planning and preparation, this can be overcome, insha Allah.

For people who don't pray at all, just start by praying only the fard prayers, after a while you will automatically start praying the sunnahs and nawafils. That's what happened to me, you just need to get in to a routine first, namaz is so peaceful that you automatically start praying the sunnahs as well.
Everyone here needs to look at what sunnah muakkadah is vs ghair muakkadah. I used to pray Fardh only, however, after I stopped neglecting my sunnah muakkadah… entire life turned around. Look at it this way, your Fardh are your obligatory prayers, however your sunnah muakkadah will help you on that spiritual journey (at least this is where they helped me). Rather than just aimlessly and mindlessly looking to just complete prayers and tick them off like a robot, slow the prayer down and try to be present. I recommend reading Inner Dimensions of Prayer by Imam ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah.
only thing allah al hamd requested amongst muslims in laylatl qadr the night that gives 1000 month of rewards of worship you do on that night is ramadan/fasting.... allah al hamd might over weight someone who lived for 79 years and prayed sunna, if you pray the sunnah prayers in laylatl qadr...
Ask the same question from a scholar who follows a hanafi maslak specially from the subcontinent. They will give you fatwa of committing sin if you even leave the nafl prayer. For them isha prayer is 17 rakats
@user997j77user well said - the religion belongs to Allah, we may think something or feel something but what pleases Him is clear in the Quran and sunnah and not away from it.
Who cares what you think....🥴 We get our Deen from Allah through Rasool (SAW) and he said that you only have to pray the Farj prayers and you can pray the Sunnah prayers if you want. But it is completely wrong to say that prayer is not complete without Sunnah prayer.
The main thing is that we stick to our obligatory prayers , but once you are familiar with doing both fard and sunna salats you’ll feel something doesn’t seem right if you don’t add the sunna’s one
The sunnah prayer is important. How can people leave sunnah prayer? Nabi Muhammad never missed 2 rakat sunnah in fajr, never ever missed 4 rakat sunnah in duhur.
I think if you miss your daily prayers then start with fard and pray with your full concentration and make dua to Allah to strengthen your Iman.. After thay slowly add the sunnah...It's better for you to pray just the fard rather than skipping salah all together
From my understanding there are two types of sunnahs (can't remember exact name) first type before fajr, zuhr 4 and 2, maghrib 2, isha 2 all these you can't omit. The rest are called "occasional" sunnah prayers. Look it up.
In my humble opinion (& believe me I'm nobody & know nothing), it's better to pray with sincerity, gratitude & full concentration & above all, from the heart. It's QUALITY, not quantity. Of course, more with all the above is better ☺️
What the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said is sufficient. No need to add ifs, ands, or buts to what he said. No need for "having said that" after saying what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said. Stop at what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said. That's enough. If the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم wanted us to consider what you told the questioner to consider, he would have told the person who questioned him to consider that.

@@potjhm1 Islam is for to ease our day to day life not to become a burden. If these all sunnah prayers are obligatory then they should be called as fard. here is a Hadith Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah: A man from Najd with unkempt hair came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and we heard his loud voice but could not understand what he was saying, till he came near and then we came to know that he was asking about Islam. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "You have to offer prayers perfectly five times in a day and night (24 hours)." The man asked, "Is there any more (praying)?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "No, but if you want to offer the Nawafil prayers (you can)." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) further said to him: "You have to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." The man asked, "Is there any more fasting?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "No, but if you want to observe the Nawafil fasts (you can.)" Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) further said to him, "You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity)." The man asked, "Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to pay?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "No, unless you want to give alms of your own." And then that man retreated saying, "By Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise)." [Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari: 46]
Its like the fard is the minimum to pay rent ie enter jannah and all the sunnah is extra so no one in there right mind would refuse more money ie refuse more rewards.
the main point is to remembering the allah...even if you prays only fards prayers then it must remind you of allah and if you are praying all nafils and sunnats but not remembering allah then i dont think that is a good thing
Remember muslims praying is very important but fighting off the filth and evils of the society is also very important for a muslim....so dont just spend your entire lives being confined in a room and pray only..go out, get in groups and try to oppose the system of the devils as well.❤
It is very hard for me to pray even 5 times prayer... Because I have ADHD...so I only pray fard prayers... In Ramadan I try to pray 12 rawatib sunnah and tahajjud but I always failed...😢
Keep making duaa to Allah SWT to allow you to stick to praying especially sunnah and tahajjud. I’ve always struggled to pray and stay praying and I’m so disappointed in myself so I make duaa that Allah SWT will allow me to keep praying regularly and on time, trying is always better than nothing.
what if we are a student and come back from school and it is zuhr and we have other things to do,is it okay to pray fard on weekday and sunnah in holidays and weekends
Fard is obligatory (compulsory) and not performing them is sinful; Fajir Zuhr Asir Maghrib Isha Are all fard and cannot be put aside or substituted. The answer was also clear from sheikh in regards to that. . . . . .
Its probably takes you about 5 mins to do wudu and get into the mindset of prayer. Then it takes about 3 to 4 mins to just pray fardh. You have already spent around 10 mins. I'm pretty sure if you spend an extra 5 to 6 mins on additional sunnah shouldn't be too much trouble. If you listen to songs then its as long as listening just 2 songs. Another example is that of an average UA-cam video that is about 8 to 10 mins. So think about it the next time you feel like it's taking too much time.
Can someone or Sheikh himself show us the mentioned Hadith about Allah asking Angels to use the Sunnah or Nafal prayers to compensate for our reduced rewards of Fard prayers?
My question is, can we force people to pray sunnat and nafal prayers? I don't think so actually. I think i cannot even force my family members to pray nawafil because nawafil are voluntary prayers, which is great, but if someone is doing that then he or she should be doing by heart and truly for Allah, and not because mother forced her or husband forced her to she did, no, shouldn't be for that reason. This is my opinion and Allah knows the best.

Excellent answer, Islam is easy. Balance is essential, why wouldn't we want to increase in good deeds once we establish the fardh? You can increase once you at that level....But remembering what's mandatory is vital in maintaining ease and success.🎉
What a Beautiful Answer. May Allah Bless you sheikh
@@Raaid0093 I don't know about Duhur in Maszid ...I am talking about Jummah ...On Jummah day Duhur prayer is no longer obligatory...2 Raqat Jummah prayer becomes obligatory for men in Friday to be prayed in group after imam
@@Raaid0093 On firday there is no Duhur prayer in Mosque it's only 2 raqat Jummaj prayer by Imam and you can pray as much as Sunnah and Nawafil during that time after or before
@@MMA_BEASTHUB hey there ,sunnah prayers are both in jummah and duhur. these are all of them:
ps (this is what prophet always made sure to pray, there are others that prophet sala allah alyhi waslam did not maintain like sometimes he prayed sometimes he did not).
2 rakat before fajr
4 rakat before duhur (2+2)
2 rakat after duhur
2 rakat after maghrib
2 rakat after ishaa
and the the ones that are recommended to add too (prophet did not pray all the times ) are :
add 2 after duhur
add 4 before asr
add 2 after maghrib
add 2 after ishaa and finish with witr.
(those are in addition to sunan al rawatib)
at the end of the day you will have total of : 42 rakat , and if you do thajjud it will be 52-54 rakat . this is what i know , check again.
Yes it’s important but if you don’t do the Sunnah and Nawafil, you will not be sinful. The sunnah/nawafil prayers are not obligatory or mandatory Fard or Wajib.
Maa Syaa Allah... Alhamdulillah...
Beautifully narrated, JazakAllah
Start with your fard prayers and try to perfect them, verily allah loves the fard prayers. When you get more steadfast add the sunnah prayers if you wish. Then add the witr prayer and finally add the night prayer if you can. Build yourself up slowly rather then try too much too soon and crash. And allah knows best.
What a beautiful answer Sheykh. Jazakallah
I respect you and not complaining about you, hope you'll consider my concern and include in your curriculum. .
Great answer Sheikh aseem
Never skip/miss any prayer especially if you're young
Explanation? I’m 16 and miss/skip my prayers
Sometimes I can’t pray and I can’t wake up for Fajr. Can you help me?
@@erolfrb bro its ramadan and fast are obligatory
So make sure you're waking up daily for suhoor and don't miss any prayers there's still like 19-20 days left in Ramadan so make the most out of it ane develop good habits and also make dua that whatever good habits you've made you'll continue to do them after ramadan too
,
so if i don’t pray my sunnah are my prayers still accepted?

When I dawah to non-praying Muslims about prayers, I always ask them to pray (start with) only Fard. That will ease their start.

Reflection is better than a year praying Sunnah

Islam Faith reform Thinker of 21st century.
Can you clarify what you mean by that?
Its the short and best answer ever
Alhamdulillah khalas😊
Alhamdullilah jazakallahu khairaan.
We will slowly love to pray Sunnah nafl also.
It's called sunnah for a reason!
only thing allah al hamd requested amongst muslims in laylatl qadr the night that gives 1000 month of rewards of worship you do on that night is ramadan/fasting.... allah al hamd might over weight someone who lived for 79 years and prayed sunna, if you pray the sunnah prayers in laylatl qadr...
Allahu Akbar ❤️
Jazakallahu khairan
Sheikh knows lakhs. Good. I am surprised
Ask the same question from a scholar who follows a hanafi maslak specially from the subcontinent. They will give you fatwa of committing sin if you even leave the nafl prayer. For them isha prayer is 17 rakats
Bhai, In subcontinent majority of Muslims are Bidda'ti.
13 no?
He added witr also@@GamingSkillz04
MashaAllah very well said.
Interesting approach. I just think that Prayers without the Sunnah Rakats feel incomplete.
We can't just 'think'. Deen is Deen. Religion in religion. It's not a take it's just clear. May Allah bless you.
@user997j77user well said - the religion belongs to Allah, we may think something or feel something but what pleases Him is clear in the Quran and sunnah and not away from it.
That’s why you are not a prophet!
Who cares what you think....🥴
We get our Deen from Allah through Rasool (SAW) and he said that you only have to pray the Farj prayers and you can pray the Sunnah prayers if you want. But it is completely wrong to say that prayer is not complete without Sunnah prayer.
The main thing is that we stick to our obligatory prayers , but once you are familiar with doing both fard and sunna salats you’ll feel something doesn’t seem right if you don’t add the sunna’s one
Jazak Allah Khair
Atee’Allah wa Atee’Rasool. We HAVE TO pray Sunnah as well, everyday. Not just the Fard.
Alhamdulillah 🤲❤
The sunnah prayer is important. How can people leave sunnah prayer?
Nabi Muhammad never missed 2 rakat sunnah in fajr, never ever missed 4 rakat sunnah in duhur.
I think if you miss your daily prayers then start with fard and pray with your full concentration and make dua to Allah to strengthen your Iman.. After thay slowly add the sunnah...It's better for you to pray just the fard rather than skipping salah all together
He explained it so beautifully!❤
Best answer
Subhannalah may Allah bless you 🙏
From my understanding there are two types of sunnahs (can't remember exact name) first type before fajr, zuhr 4 and 2, maghrib 2, isha 2 all these you can't omit. The rest are called "occasional" sunnah prayers. Look it up.
what?
Moqad'da and Ghair moqad'da
May allah bless you sir
there are 20 Rekaat Sunnah every day and 3 witr after and before the Farz prayer
Jazak Allah khair
In my humble opinion (& believe me I'm nobody & know nothing), it's better to pray with sincerity, gratitude & full concentration & above all, from the heart. It's QUALITY, not quantity. Of course, more with all the above is better ☺️
Allahu Akbar
I haven’t Evan watched this but know Fard is obligatory and the sunnas and nafils are for extra rewards
This is the best analysis of what the Sheikh said.
Anu hadees for the authentication of farz pray is sufficient
Wrong. The vast majority of scholars said skipping Sunnahs of fazr, zohr, magrib is a sin.
@@potjhm1Nobody said that it is a lie spread in subcontinent.Go and study Al Muwatta you will find that Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas used to 5 rakat 4fard+1witr throughout his life.
@@faraazsiddiqui1450 A scholar said anyone who promotes less salah wants to spend less time with Allah awj.
@@potjhm1 Islam is for to ease our day to day life not to become a burden. If these all sunnah prayers are obligatory then they should be called as fard. here is a Hadith
Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah:
A man from Najd with unkempt hair came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and we heard his loud voice but could not understand what he was saying, till he came near and then we came to know that he was asking about Islam. I will neither do less nor more than this." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise)."

Alhamdulillah
Its like the fard is the minimum to pay rent ie enter jannah and all the sunnah is extra so no one in there right mind would refuse more money ie refuse more rewards.
the main point is to remembering the allah...even if you prays only fards prayers then it must remind you of allah and if you are praying all nafils and sunnats but not remembering allah then i dont think that is a good thing
This Hadeeth is at the initial stage of Islam. That point people were been called towards Islam. Later the ayat came through nafil u get my qurb.
which ayat please tell me
Remember muslims praying is very important but fighting off the filth and evils of the society is also very important for a muslim....so dont just spend your entire lives being confined in a room and pray only..go out, get in groups and try to oppose the system of the devils as well.❤
It is very hard for me to pray even 5 times prayer...
That’s so me, am also having this prblm 😢😢May Allah help us
Good example and sufficient to persuade non-prayers of the Sunnah.
Subhan Allah
what if we are a student and come back from school and it is zuhr and we have other things to do,is it okay to pray fard on weekday and sunnah in holidays and weekends
im sure as sheikh has said fardh is fardh praying sunnat etc has extra reward
Fard is obligatory (compulsory) and not performing them is sinful;
Fajir
Zuhr
Asir
Maghrib
Isha
Are all fard and cannot be put aside or substituted.
The Sheikh gave you the answer.
There is no sin not praying Sunnah.
But don't leave them for ever.
How old is the sheikh?! Ma sha Allah he looks very youthful ❤
❤❤❤ Allahu akber
SubhanAllah
Mashallah ❤❤❤❤
Omg what a question
Maybe that’s all I can pray 🤲🏾 is the Fard prayer maybe it’s difficult for me and him !
Whats the "night" prayer, is it thahajjud?
Yes.
Can someone or Sheikh himself show us the mentioned Hadith about Allah asking Angels to use the Sunnah or Nafal prayers to compensate for our reduced rewards of Fard prayers?
I'm amazed that this is even a question to begin with.
Jazakallah khair
Jazakallah
The answer of you why is: most people in Pakistan did not offer Isha namaz because of 17 Rakaats. They leave farz too.
Nice share Masha Allah
Reminders Brothers and Sisters:
Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh)
Wear Turban and Not Hijab looking male.
Those that look for seashells find seashells, those that open it find Perls.why not go the step further and pray the sunnah and nufal prayers?
My question is, can we force people to pray sunnat and nafal prayers? I don't think so actually. I think i cannot even force my family members to pray nawafil because nawafil are voluntary prayers, which is great, but if someone is doing that then he or she should be doing by heart and truly for Allah, and not because mother forced her or husband forced her to she did, no, shouldn't be for that reason. This is my opinion and Allah knows the best.
