That was a great update and well worth the wait. I would say anyone thinking a rusty Ghia has no hope might change their mind after seeing what's possible.
Option, take 1/2 inch round bar and make a form of the nostril. Shape the curved edge of the nostril over the form and then make the back part out of flat sheet and connect the two together. Has to be better and less time consuming than the stuff you had to work with. Good job making the best of what you had.
Wonderful work! I have not seen the rear tire compartment panel with the shift shaft hole available. Would it be possible to tip me off to where you are getting your sheet metal parts? M&T has helped me with many but mainly are generic later model parts to modify. I noticed in part 5 that your lower fender panel was the correct wider low light part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
after seeing how those grill inserts fit I dont think I would buy them myself. I would just make the patch. OMG they were so far off. And those suckers are not cheap Would be a tough patch but probably easier than making those fit.
