DIY Mouse ARM Pad - Better Than Common Mouse Pads?

The problem with computer mouse pads, gaming mats and mouse desk extenders is that they still force your entire arm to hyperextend, hang at an awkward angle, or both -- causing massive strain on your hand, wrist, shoulder and neck. An ergonomic way to minimize strain is to control the mouse where our shoulder is squared, elbow is at a 90 degree angle and our forearm, wrist and hand are aligned from elbow to fingertips and supported by a flat cushioned surface. In this video, I designed and built a custom "computer mouse armrest caddy".

I've been thinking about making something like this myself. Like you, I've scoured the internet and I really haven't seen much commercially available to just put the mouse lower It's wild considering how much time society spends on the computer

This is what I was thinking about. You nailed it, kind sir. Although, my original thought was making an arm rest that can be attached/dettached to the chair with adjustable height and swivel for both arms.
