After spending so many hours researching the truth about Borax, I explain what Borax really is and share my honest opinion about it.

Well you know what they say! "If you have to ask..."

@@GeorgeKnew Low dose? As in just a "pinch"? I can't even taste the borax in my glass of distilled water.
If you started out with more than just a pinch, I can see it. Otherwise, you might've been experiencing what's called "Herxheimer" reaction (herxing). That's the parasites (or bacteria) "rebelling" against their potential elimination. Many people stop these kinds of treatments due to this and mistakenly blame the treatment as the cause of the reactions, when it's not the case at all. Also, using a binder, such as zeolite or clay, helps your body eliminate the critters dead bodies so they don'tjust migrate elsewhere. As with any detox, begin "low and slow" but stay consist, and you'll win win out against these invaders.
Borax is safer than table salt from what I have read.
Which is now a GMO. Not made the same way it used to be. It's basic chemistry.
Just an FYI borax is indeed useful as a supplement that can be taken orally in small amounts in water. They used it for arthritis and other ailments for centuries until Rockefeller put a negative spin on it because he couldn’t patent it, and didn’t want competition for his petroleum based drugs. It’s much better for you than pharmaceuticals.

@@HanDIYman007 Anything intenseively farmed... the plants take out nutrients which are not replaced. So all our soils are deplemeted. All the elements are pooped out into the oceans. Unless human waste goes back onto the land... this is the result.
What on earth are you talking about
@@i.k.8868 Crops are largely fertilized with artificial fertilizer (nitrogen) and some mined fertilizer (phosphorus). Human waste is not used anymore, but rather it's treated at the water treatment facility. There, the sludge is dried, burnt, and the ash from it is probably sent to landfill, while whatever minerals remain in the water eventually make it to the sea. So, a lot of potential manure (human waste) doesn't fertilize the land anymore, causing depletion of the soil.

FYI... borax separates into sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda, and boric acid. Boric acid doesn't give you boron, it passes in your urine in about 4 days unchanged. Okay, this makes me feel better about considering using it as a natural fire ant killer near the playground. Don't want to use anything that could harm animals/pets or kids if they come in contact with it.
One thing I would suggest about making mixtures of anything with water is that it is best to use deionized/distilled water for your solution. It will last longer without building up bacteria like well water does if stored for more than a couple days. If nothing else, boil your tap water first, let it set for a couple hours and gently pour off the top to use and discard the bottom inch of water in your pan. I would also store the solution in a fridge if available or simply make only enough to last a few days.
All my drinking water, coffee water, and tea water is distilled water. I use a one gallon distiller. If you use one teaspoon Citric Acid in the water you boil it will keep the distiller from the build up of junk on the bottom and sides.

Boron has a huge neutron cross section, consider that exposure of boron/borax to neutron flux can make unstable isotopes. Boron-12 usually decays into Carbon-12, which is stable, but
What example?
What do you mean by keep it away from neutrons ?
@@jjsam5375 Well, Boron undergoes nuclear reactions around neutrons, fast and slow.
Boron-10 which is the lesser fraction of the two stable isotopes (18.9-20.4%) has an unusually large neutron cross-section. It absorbs neutrons that would otherwise decay due to solar neutrino interactions. Cross-section is expressed in barns, which is a unit of area equal to 10^-28m^2.
Thermal Neutron Cross-Sections
Boron-10: scattering = 2, capture = 200
Cadium-113: scattering = 100, capture = 30,000
Xenon-135: scattering = 400,000, capture = 2,000,000
Indium-115: scattering = 2, capture = 100
Fast Neutron Cross-Sections:
Boron-10: scattering = 2, capture = 0.4
Cadium-113: scattering = 4, capture = 0.05
Xenon-135: scattering = 5, capture = 0.0008
Indium-115: scattering = 4, capture = 0.02
So, you see this is one of the peculiar properties of this Element and isotope, and it is used in high-energy physics for exactly this purpose. Some other elements have higher thermal cross-sections but have drawbacks like toxicity, gaseous state, or scarcity. However, Boron-10 outperforms them all 8x with fast neutrons.
Now, what happens when a Boron-10 atom absorbs a neutron? It's not the end of the world. It becomes Boron-11, which is also stable and 79.6-81.1% of stable Boron isotopes are comprised of Boron-11. Its spin changes from 3+ to 3/2- and it has a greater mass (+10%) and therefore represents more energy in a stable configuration.
With the addition of another neutron though, it becomes Boron-12, which decays in 20.2ms to Carbon-12, which is stable, but sometimes begets Beryllium-8 which decays by beta decay and alpha emission. If a fast neutron /reduces/ the neutron number of Boron-10, it becomes Boron-9 forr 800 zetaseconds and decays into Beryllium-8 again (which subsequently decays), and a proton.
So these neutrons that otherwise would have dissipated in about 15 minutes due to solar neutrinos and muon interaction result in a nuclear reaction with Boron that conceivably can lead to undesirable nuclear reactions. Mostly it was just a cheeky comment from me though. Maybe you can tell I've been fascinated by this property of Boron... :)
btw, this might be something we could exploit further with Borophene. I'm not sure that anybody is looking at 10B borophene, or how it modifies the neutron cross section, or how that changes (or other properties) when the N-number changes in the respective atoms. Some really exotic effects may emerge.
I suppose one thing that fascinates me about Boron so much is the /accessibility/ of it, you can do these super high-tech things with 20 Mule Team Borax (Sodium tetraborate) as your input. Borophene is metallic, btw.

Just make sure that you have PURE BORAX - and not a detergent with Borax properties 👍
Where do you get pure borax though?
can you please post the link to the borax product you use ?
Much like everything else . Clo2 , hydrogen peroxide, ect . I'm a firm believer that everything is good for you in the right amounts and not abused . Just as everything is bad for you if misused or abused . Common sense and intelligence is a rare thing these days and it's truely sad that people are so ignorant due to their laziness that people have to make videos to explain something that should be known by default.
Anyways great presentation
I agree with clo2 and dmso
Magical cellular healing .
Will try with boron.
Real medicine the one which heals is available but we are so conditioned that many are ignorant about it
I love how I know it's the truth because you've told me so!
Saaaaaaay, wasn't your book the 400th translation?
@@ljprep6250 something like that XD
Is borax decahydrate (disodium tetraborate) the same. Can i add this to the laundry, never us3d it before
anything-hydrate just means it has some moisture in it (water)
Safe when used properly, this is an interesting video, the end section is particularly important to watch
Thank you!
I use Borax as laundry detergent and toothpaste
Thank you
You're welcome
Interesting and informative video, and I expect to watch more of your work, but why the use of the term "shocking"? Clickbait? This drags you down from "serious" to "sensationalist".
I been to 3 hardware stores. No borax available cept as main ingredient in pesticides. How do i get pure boric acid????
Had to order it online
It’s found along side laundry detergents in a grocery store or home goods store like Walmart.
@@darrinsobel1946 if that's so ... double - no triple thank you
It's Borax not Boric acid. Different
@@gailcorley6888 "20 Mule" borax. It's very cheap.
My question is what is the best band to consume?
Any
It does NOT dissolve in water without heat.
Can I drink bor acid in water? Is it the same as borax?
"Boric acid and borax are both boron compounds that can be used for cleaning products, etc. but boric acid is more refined and processed"
@@TIKIWOLF I have the book from Andreas Kalcker, forbidden health and there is borax mentioned and bor acid. Seems to be the same.
@@TIKIWOLF that k you. But it's it toxic I hope, I give it in small amounts to my dog
A certain province in Indonesia was using Borax as an ingredient in cooking its exact use was not specified the region suffered an unusual number of deaths from Pancreatic Cancer one of the most fatal cancers. It's use was not recommended. This is the only evidence I can find of fatal consequences from Borax to humans.
Is that supposed to be a report of a "controlled study"? What else were they using that might have caused it? Did Bill Gates of hell visit that village at any point? You're making the wildest assumption possible, based on a fragment of hearsay.
Source?
If they were using it in cooking, I'm sure they were using a toxic amount
But was it Boron that caused the deaths 🤔
Can somebody please help me I ordered a pack of borax decahydrate ( sodium tetraborate decahydrate) is it something different from sodium tetraborate or sodium borate can I use borax decahydrate as a dietary supplement? Seller says it's technical grade borax.
Same compound but has water molecules, so safe and effective.
@@geoattoronto so it's safe? And as effective as sodium borate or tetraborate? How much boron is found in it?

Laugh, but it Works!
why don't we just use salt to kill bugs then?
How do you get boron that is in your bones?
Green veg, and Borax diluted.
2 teaspoons to 75cl of filtered water.
@@ianbardon8581 2 tsp of borax in 75cl of water and you drink that each day ?
Okay, fine. What about pH? Borax is clearly a strong base. So while you are rubbing it on your fingers in the video, I would strongly recommend against doing so. You should also have included bold-face cautions about getting it in your eyes...
Borax is good to scrub candida flim on hands but you got to repeatedly use it. But please do your own research and do things at your own risk.
Just watched your video I thought Borax will kill rats if ingested can you please 🙏 tell me
Why not just buy pure boron citrate online in bulk powder? Its the same form as supplimental boron and you can get a pound for like $30. Thats like a lifetime of supplimentation at 3-10mg pee day. It seems theres confusion everywhere on if borax indeed gets used as boron in the body, id rather just know im getting the straight mineral. I understand using borax for baths or insecticide but for injestion, boron citrate is the way
boron citrate contains citric acid
@@suzanneboadway2829...and? Soda contains citric acid.
Why not just boric acid powder which is the consistency of salt. It is borax without the sodium and water.
Banned from laundry products UK/EU because absorbed through the skin supposedly. But such small doses.
Banned because they were getting ready to release Alzheimer's drugs and malaria drugs (among others) that are made using boric acid. Borax offers similar benefits to our body/brain. Can't have us dosing ourselves, now can we...?
Kumustaka? Mabuti ya?
Locomotives use it in there engines coolant systems
Borax was used by mechanics to remove oil from hands.
Didn't they put borax in the spoiled milk in the UK back in the 1500s because it made it look and taste like fresh milk? Didn't it kill a lot of children?
Even if you didn't add borax and you drank spoiled milk, what do you think is gonna happen?
Was it the milk or the borax
@@HanDIYman007 I don't think spoiled milk by itself would kill you.
@@HanDIYman007 AT WORST, a transient bellyache. So-called "spoiled" milk isn't anything worse than "Yuck! That tastes awful!" until it gets to the point where it's turning strange colors due to fungal growth. (And sometimes, not even then - ever heard of Bleu Cheese? Depending on the exact variety, might be more than half mold by weight) Milk went sour? No problem - make cheese. Cream went bad? What? Never heard of sour cream? Or butter? Y'like cheese? That's REALLY "spoiled" milk, and some varieties are worth insane amounts of money (not to mention being quite tasty) And so on...
@@felsinferguson1125 No, they are not the same. The bacteria that thrive in spoiled milk and the other foods you enumerated are different and may have different side effects. Also, adults (I'm assuming you are one) have obviously higher resistance to spoiled milk vs children and infants.
it is also used on carrom board, I know most don't know this game.
