Glad someone is paying attention to Buck Owens. I saw him in Tokyo in the 1970s and of course he sang Made in Japan. And I agree about Don Rich; Buck was great, in large part, because of Don. Dwight certainly helped out too. Thanks for your extra info.
Actually Buck Owens didn't write Streets of Bakersfield, in fact my cousin Homer Joy wrote it while waiting to see Buck one day. Last time I was at Homers home, which was years ago he showed me and my Dad his Platinum Record for Streets of Bakersfield which was hanging on his Studio wall along with a picture of Him and Dwight Yoakum on either side holding the platinum record.
