Dude went through some suffering, and I get it, Vader made some bad choices, but the willpower to not quit is something else. Overcoming struggle will always resonate with me, which is why I love Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker’s story arc.
No right along with Vader was Darth Maul. Sidious really put Vader and Maul through absolute hardcore hell in literal and figurative sense of the word. But obviously Sidious was put through the process too thus confirming that he was indeed an absolute master of all aspects of the FORCE even in not using it to attain any goal and endeavor. Sidious, as much as I find him remarkable as Mace Windu observed is way to dangerous a soul to live among any species of life.
Too bad he is most of the time too conflicted to use his real power . That is also the reason why Palpatine goes to great length to maintain his anger since he knows that if he doesn't keep him that way, he will get much weaker.
I don’t think I’m the first to notice, but I love how progressively Darth Vader is physically surrounded by lava more and more throughout the comics with little to no distress.
