Dude went through some suffering, and I get it, Vader made some bad choices, but the willpower to not quit is something else. Overcoming struggle will always resonate with me, which is why I love Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker’s story arc.
For me, he's the most complex and compelling tragic villain of all time.

No right along with Vader was Darth Maul. Sidious really put Vader and Maul through absolute hardcore hell in literal and figurative sense of the word. But obviously Sidious was put through the process too thus confirming that he was indeed an absolute master of all aspects of the FORCE even in not using it to attain any goal and endeavor. Sidious, as much as I find him remarkable as Mace Windu observed is way to dangerous a soul to live among any species of life.
Sooo...if Vader knew about Palpatine’s contingency plan and knew that eventually he might come back...could that mean it really was Anakin who reached out to Kylo and asked him to “finish what I started” by destroying Palpatine’s Final Order/Imperial Remnants.
It that's what happened then Ben took Anakin's message in a very different way than what was intended.

I don’t think I’m the first to notice, but I love how progressively Darth Vader is physically surrounded by lava more and more throughout the comics with little to no distress. I think that this truly is an amazing expression of imagery of how he is more than capable of overcoming his loss on Mustafar, even more so becoming stronger.

I want an au comic series where anakin rises again and becomes the chosen one he was meant to be.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there should've been an infinities series for the prequels like the OT got. Infinities ROTJ ends with a redeemed Anakin in a white Vader suit setting off with Luke to hunt Palpatine.
ROTS alone has so many possibilities for an alternate scenario. What if the Council had made Anakin a master? What if Anakin had spared Dooku? What if Anakin had gone with Mace to confront Sidious? What if Obi-wan had been killed by Dooku?
AOTC: What if Anakin had saved Shmi? What if Padme had been assassinated?
TPM: What if Qui-gon had survived? What if they could take Shmi with them? What if Anakin lost the race?
Could you imagine if Vader entered the lava pit and underwent a metamorphosis to heal himself and turn back into a fully healthy Anakin.

I think it's pretty obvious that this is meant to lead into the Sequel Trilogy and in particular, Episode IX. Lucasfilm is retroactively working in the plot elements, foreshadowing, and other clues that Rian Johnson threw out when he re-wrote The Last Jedi. Now they're finding a way to tie it in with OT-era continuity, so that people can revisit the ST later and get more sense out of it . . . they hope.

If you really think about it in these moments as Vader wanting Luke was clearly feeling Vader’s anger but you can tell anakin’s pulling the strings here darth Vader’s family was the empire and he needed Luke to run it permanently after the empire, as anakin just wanted his family from the start

This issue and a lot of the others makes Darth Vader look like he stepped into a bizarre adventure. Everyone wants to kill him and Vader finds himself in scenarios that I could never imagine.
I think this issues was a bit fun, despite his whole tragic backstory.

I like how the comic used Tor Valum's concept art from Colin Trevorrow's scrapped Episode IX Script "Duel of the Fates" for the Eye of Webbish Bog's design
That isnt Tor Valum, there is concept art for Tor Valum, but it looks far different from the Eye of Webbish Bog, the Eye of Webbish Bog wasnt even in Duel of the Fates, the Eye of Webbish Bog was originally in the opening scene of the Rise of Skywalker, Kylo was suppose to encounter it on Mustafar but that scene was cut to save up more time

Not gonna lie this would be sick af to see on a Darth Vader show.
I had commented in the previous comic that I thought Vader was going to find out the Emperors plans on Exogol. Could this way finder be the one we see in the ROS? That would lead Vader to the Emperors backup plan on Exogol? Even though it’s early the Emperor would have needed this backup plan in motion prior to the Return of the Jedi in order for him to survive. Did the Emperor foresee Vader turning back to the light which set the emperor’s backup plan in motion? They talk about building something so I don’t think it’s the world between worlds as the Emperor did not build that. Either way this is awesome stuff! Can’t wait for next month
Also....In ROS we see them go after Ochi in order to retrieve the Way Finder. Therefore Ochi must somehow take the Way Finder from Vader!!

The eye of webbish boh is literally standing on a behelit from BERSERK
This is the same training tactic that Palpatine used to train Darth Maul and it definitely brings out the worst in the trainee. Darth Sidious was hardcore trained by his teachers and I see why he was indeed a master of 7 other forms of the force.

I think it’s the sith way finder kylo finds on mustifar years later in episode 9, as the ppl who kylo had slaughtered were worshipers of Vader and kept many of his valuables. This would also mean that while palpatine was still alive he had been building his sith fleet on exegul. I believe at some point he knew that his death was coming an prepared a contingency ahead of time. As the first order built up, palpatines final order was nearly completed, because that is what the creature was referring to when he said palpatine is building something. The sith fleet on exigul is what I believe he is referencing.
I think many people wouod agree that this comic is THE BEST! I mean, so much information about vader is so exciting!

God, I really wish that the Umbaran is actually Sly Moore, because ever since the old EU became Legends we've had zero hints as to what happened to her after the Clone Wars. This Umbaran being her would actually make a lot of sense, considering Sly is confirmed to be one of the only people in the Galaxy to know of Palpatine's true identity as Darth Sidious.

Not sure about the timeline, but it would make sense that the meeting of Ahsoka Tano and Darth in the Temple scene in final season of Clone Wars would make sense as he follows the crumbs to the power his master is after.
