Thank you Oscar for your videos. I just wanted to bring your attention to historic median processing times of I-140 as per USCIS website had changed from 4.3 months in fiscal year 2023 to 6 months in fiscal year 2024.
we'll see! hopefully you get it soon. Goes without saying that one case is anecdotal :) Still, things are way better now compare to a couple of years ago. When I did it, it was normal to wait more than one year for a decision (and Premium did not exist). Good luck!@@MohammedAli-ow7ku
Oscar, did you encounter with EB2 NIW that was approved with the the following status: "We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application".
Dear Oscar, It seems the demand (number of petitions) for EB1 has increased. However, regardless of the demand, it is the approval rate that matters much. It is quite evident from the data that the agency has kept the approval rate quite consistent throughout the years as they have increased the denial rate for EB1. There must be some other factors too behind the retrogression. Thanks
Hello Oscar, we know that there is a change in the government of the United States next year. If a Republican comes into power, how will it affect the EB2-NIW visa? Will the officers become more stringent?
hi Oscar. just want to confirm if it was really true.... I watched a live discussion for NIW from one atty. He said that even though you were approved in NIW, for those who have 212-e rule, you need to go back to your home town to render the 2 years... You cant stay in the US even your NIW was approved because it will cause problem on your green card application if you stay in the US even you have a valid work permit.. and it should be on the last country that you stay to render the 2 years... What is true about this?
hello oscar, Thank You for your informative videos. I would like to ask you about that my NIW petition have been approved, but I haven't recieved any correspondance email from NVC yet, It's been 1.5 months. however, my friend's petition approved after 7days of mine, and he got correspondance email from NVC within 15 days of approval. kindly let me know what should I do, is it normal or anything went wrong?
I would say give it 2 months or a bit more, and then if you don't hear from them contact them travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
Hi Oscar, I want to clarify one thing, I have a US Baccalaureate degree with post-five years of job experience and I fulfill the criteria of an advanced degree (i-140 EB-2 NIW) then still need labor certification? Can I have your email address? Need to discuss my RFE with you

yes, but only one month of data (October) so I would wait a couple of months before seeing a trend

Normally how long could take for the interview to be scheduled after sending a RFE?

That is very common, it means exactly what it says...your PD is not current and they cannot proceed until you are current

I think you answered yourself...if the demand increases (and the number of visas don't) then you have the reason for backlogs right there

I doubt it based on the precedent Trump term, but we will have to see. Still, that won't happen until one year from now (if they win)

hi I avail your NIW course and I really learnt a lot, thank you...
you're welcome. And yes, if you are subject to the 2 years rule that means you have to go back for 2 years or get a waiver@@JomBulanadi-yp4hm
