I just had a thought mid way through this video. Society in the beauty world offers spf in foundations to protect our skin, yet the foundation itself is full of chemicals and not clean at all 😅
Great stuff! The sun is extremely important, especially sunrise infrared light and sunset infrared light to help build a solar callus for peak UV light and also heal any damage from it. Would be interested to know your opinion Shawn on Dr Jack Kruse opinion that artificial blue light is what causes skin cancer!
@ShawnStevenson Thanks you so much for an unbelievable episode!! This content was extremely insightful and mind blowing. Thank you so much for everything you do you LEGEND! Oh and by the way bot sure if I already commented on your recent episode with Louisa Nicola, the two of you together are a force to be reckoned with. It's like binge watching your favorite Netflix series.
Awesome infos, thank you! Two thoughts: what about the "antibiotics" people put on their skin like in soaps or cleaning products. The skin has a microbiome, isn't tha maybe helping in the sunprotection, too? And about the berries: grow them in your gardens. Raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants, seaberries, strawberries, etc. are so easy to grow - even in pots - and easy to freeze or dehydrate and turned into a powder. And they taste so much better then any store bought berries, and cheaper, too.
I just watched a video by doctor in Australia I think, she said antibiotics are a big pharma scam. Intriguing. I won’t take them anymore since I spent a lot of effort building up my gut biome to treat anxiety, ibs and depression. My 9 year old has had them 1 time! But they’re putting it in food!
They kill bacteria, but not viruses They're not a scam really, but some people are allergic to Penicillin (mold) People used to die faster..before antibiotics However, when you take them Use kefir and yogurt along with it after
I believe that because they don’t work for me, my IBS was so bad before that I did not know what to do until I started to eat sour kraut, omg it has changed my life and gut health as well.
My skin reacts (develops an itchy rash on neck and arms) after sun exposure every spring. Apparently it’s some kind of temporary photosensitivity (allergy to the sun)? I live in Canada where I don’t get enough sun during the winter so it’s like an immune response/sensitivity to sunlight in the spring. Also, I haven’t always had this issue…it’s only developed in the last few years. (This sensitivity disappears once my skin’s reaction has calmed down and then I’m fine through summer, but it sucks dealing with this every spring for several weeks.) I never realized that diet could correct your skin’s resilience.Thankyou for sharing what you know. Didn’t know nutritional sunscreen was a thing. After listening to this talk, is there a way for me to clear up my sensitivity to sunlight and not just avoid sunburn? (I burn easily too with a fair complexion so it is also something I’m interested in changing.) Asking for myself and anyone else who struggles with photosensitivity.
Thanks for tuning in on this episode! I've sent your comment to Shawn. I am sure he will be so happy to read it. With the number of messages Shawn gets every day, he will try his best to reply when he can. - Assistant to Shawn
Thank you for this episode, maybe you can do a follow-up with a guest who has an interest / specialises on this subject. P.S. I try to avoid quoting KURUPT organisations such as the FDA & LANCET...
@@TheShawnModel Cool, thanks for getting back to me Sarah. One more suggestion for an episode would be 'Spike Protein Detox' for those that rolled up their sleeves to take a certain experimental medical procedure...

Love this episode, def hittin that 100% cacao & black coffee everyday also lycopene from red foods (cooked tomatoes via sauce as supplement & watermelon & raspberries) & astaxanthin & DHA/EPA & EGCG from green tea & purple sweet potatoes. It's what YOU EAT, or else, red headed gingers would've died out years ago It's not the sun However, you need to go out, a little at a time..not stay inside, and stay outside all day You could burn Get a "starter tan"

This is good info. Not to go down a rabbit hole but have you looked into Geo engineering and the chemicals that are being sprayed in our skies?
Naw...not true
Air was dirtier, before the 1970s..I know..I was there
What about sun screen?
Black berries?
How do you only have 137k followers? Travesty.
Don’t forget about antibiotics in the animals we eat! Beef, pork, chickens…
Actually, meat is inspected for any trace of antibiotics

BS, he is selling big time. The best thing is fresh. Everything is saying is so repeat, we already know that.

Cool at home
since people stay up later, because of 24/7 media?
No one is sleeping at night
