Sabine River and Blacks Bayou Fishing

- So in this video i'm really bouncing around trying to find a few fish. They were a little scattered out vs stacked up like the day before.
My main 3 spots in this video was the mouth of cow bayou, mouth of burtons where it meets the sabine river and where burtons dumps in to blacks bayou.
There was a really good out flowing tide on this day.
I caught everything on soft plastics either on a popping cork or a jig head. The fall and winter patterns are in full swing right now.
I'll have a good sabine bass fishing video coming up soon that you guys don't wanna miss!
Tight lines & God Bless!

Thanks for the video! Most people are to selfish to show others where to fish. Tight lines
Anytime! Every now and then I upset a few people but I like seeing everyone do good. Tight lines!
Love watching your videos! I fish the Sabine every Friday morning. Thanks for putting these videos out there!
Thanks bud! I appreciate that. Oh nice! I hope to get back out there this week. Definitely gonna try. Anytime! I’ll have a few new ones soon!
My grandson and I fished about the same spot a few days ago and mopped up. Ten over 30 inches and one 42 in less than 90 minutes. He had never caught a red. He was super impressed and is now a devoted red fan.
That’s fantastic!!!! Another pro and I just filmed a TV show in there and on the north end of Sabine lake. We had a pretty good day but definitely would have loved to have caught several over 30”. They’ve been in there so thick this year. I love it! When y’all go back out there get a pink and gold rat l trap. 1/2oz and just cast and reel it along those marsh drains. They LOVE that lure out there!
@@lanceduff We did use a Rat l trap for a bit after we ran out of live shrimp. Was silver and pink if I remember correctly. I think we could have used anything that day and caught reds. Trout were a little tougher to catch but not to bad. We usually put in at PN park and fish upstream in the marsh but we will return to that spot occasionally. It was fun and for the grandson that’s all that matters. He can really devour a fresh trout too!
@user-yo1ev1pe5b nice! Yeah those trout can be a little goofy at times in there. They’re pretty smart. Nice. I use to launch there but since they don’t have a dock or wind protected I go to cow bayou. Outstanding! If y’all happen to see me out there say hi.
@@lanceduff We will. Mostly out there with my wife but we will holler at ya.
Great video. Mickie seems to be enjoying himself. Very nice boat.
Thanks bud! Oh my gosh he was extra excited on this day. LOL. Thanks! This is the nicest aluminum boat I’ve ever owned. It really fishes comfortable and is very stable.
Enjoy your videos. Not to be a prick, but look at any map and you will see it is BLACK BAYOU, not BLACKS BAYOU. Let the bashing begin!!
Thanks bud! Haha all good. Those Cajuns got me calling it blacks but you are correct.
We need to go together soon!
Yes sir
