    Gorgeous style and colors. An heirloom of practical use for your lucky little one. This inspires a build of a similar pair of storage containers, but in square dimensions, with a door. My guy's man cave needs 2 side tables. Hey, maybe a matching coffee table, either top lid, or 2 side doors. Bye, gouged, rustic pine hand-me-downs!

    Hi sir I just finished building this awesome box. Only thing I had problems with was I bought the 40inch lb hinges and it holds good but once it gets below 45degree it just drops just wondering if you had the same problem.

    • @JohnBuildsIt
      @JohnBuildsIt  3 роки тому

      Our toy box lid stays open all the time so far so I had to go check haha but no not at all! What type of wood use did you use for the top? Maybe it’s heavier than mine. I know they’re not cheap but maybe you could add a third hinge in the center, or reach out to Rockler and see what they say about it

    Don't care what anyone says, a router table is my next tool. Ain't tryna be one of those guys crying about your better tools, but I really don't have an interest in trying all those tongue an groove joints w a hand router... or do I? Wait. Seriously. Do I?
