Hi Anthony, Thank you for your great work... Is it possible to use white acrylic with tempera for the purpose of lightening instead of titanium? Because this material is not available in my city, so I have to use white acrylic. I find it difficult to do this, and it ruins the work. I do not know the reason for the acrylic, or the reason for the poor execution of the work.

Dear Antonis, I am painting an icon of Saint Michael. I am about to finish it. I would like to ask you how you paint the Hallow and the name of the saint on the gilding. If I remeber well, you don't add ox gall to the painting. Do you use the normal egg yolk tempera? Does it stick on the gilding? Thank you so much for your help! Greetings from Hungary
