Exactly what I was looking for...thank you! Have any tips on how to remove the current coil plug connectors that have a broken release tab? I can't get mine off on #2 & #3.

The pin tool you use to remove the old connectors, can I use that to remove other connectors on the car? Such as the connector to the brake pad sensor?

What do you do if you damage a terminal pin in the process of removing it? Asking for a, uh, friend... I've searched for a week and can't find a soul who can tell me what part # or what equivalent there might be for that terminal pin. Seems insane to have to buy a new $2500+ wiring harness over a single damaged pin.

The metal pins are "terminal sockets", they are replaceable. You would just have to make sure you get the correct one. Here is an example www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-parts/8k0973702-electrical-connector-housing-with-pins-2/8k0973702-kit/ I believe those pins are the same for the ignition coil plug, but you would want to do your own cross comparison to verify.

I'd check junk yards, then cut and solder

Did you have any misfires because of a broken ignition coil plug connector?

I didn’t have any misfires, but if they’re really broken that can happen.
