Hiii!!! You can have rice for sure but you have to modify the way of eating....when u cook rice let it cool down in room temperature and then keep it in fridge overnight or for 24 hours then take out let it get back to normal room temperature and voila lyou can enjoy rice...reason being by doing this you are developing resistant starch in rice which actually helps in lowering blood glucose level....it's scientifically proven and m diabetic i can vouch for this!!! Kabhi kabhi doctors nhi batate.... Same way you can have potato also make it like potato raita....it will work as both pre and pro biotics!!! Don't skip anything just alter the way to eat it...stay blessed 🙏

Still quantity matters a lot it's not u have plate full of rice n with lots of heavy cream curries will help u !!! So quantity do matters!!! Or u can also have rice daal and "ghee" as adding ghee reduces glycemic index n convert it into complex carbs and also try to add veggies in your rice while cooking that way you are adding fibre also!! Hope it helps 👍

You can have strawberries and blueberries , brown basmati rice is good and old fashioned oats , quinoa which I tried in my gestational diabetics and millets which worked out very good

I lost my first baby two years back in 9 month it was stillbirth due to high sugar, my dr doesn't adviced me any thing or never alert me coz that time corona was on pick point ...now in I'm pregnant with 7 month.. R u sure. U mean cooked rice stored in fridge over night won't increase sugar ? Can I try it ? What about potatoes ? How to use them

Hi, on the first place 96 sugar does not comes under gestational diabeties, and ur post prandial sugar is absolutely normal, so ur not even a case of gestational diabetis
Plus add some milk products in ur diet like milk, butter Milk, dahi which has calcium and protein both and add nuts in ur diet too..

Many women suffer from really bad numbers and doesn’t matter what they do they can’t get achieve their target levels. And also with as the pregnancy advances the numbers become high. I myself suffering from such and it is frustrating to restrict food every time and constantly worry

Hi debina.. Monika here.. I want to say your doctors hard work makes all this possible and obviously your effort too.. But i was not so lucky.. I lost my first baby two years back in 9 month it was stillbirth due to high sugar, my dr doesn't adviced me any thing or never alert me coz that time corona was on pick point ...now in I'm pregnant with 7 month.. Again dr said Im having gestational diabetes.. Iam getting nervous and sacred whlie i recall all the memories . I want to stay positive but somehow it doesn't work.. Plz tell me what to do. 🙏
