- A Railfan under the name @Capitol City Rail Productions was accused of derailing a BNSF Coal Train for Clout on UA-cam
The real reason why this derailment happened is unknown since the investigation is still going on, but will most likely be solved in the next few months. BNSF did notice that the switch that was lined to a side track was pulled by someone. Even though most people are guessing it was Capitol City Rail Productions who did it, it could have been someone else. It may not be him but the evidence I have been seeing is not looking good for this person.
Hey Railfan -- So it looks like the switch was thrown, a car rolled onto the main, and bang. Can you clarify the chain of events? Is this in San Marcos where they have the train show and used to have some UP equipment on display? If so, that is where the Superintendent's offices and I bet he was Pixxed. You have been so far, but always say, accused of, Policeman X said, be very careful of liable.
All of Capital City's videos are too coincidental to not have something to do with it. Further, BNSF noted several derailments in that area over a tight time period. Lastly, For a bad order car to be set out from mid train, the switch would have to be lined for the main after they left. Any other scenario would mean a trained railroader missed properly lining the switch. So we have one of two scenarios, one where the switch HAD to be lined correctly, and one where there is a large percentage chance it was lined correctly. Most of these switches do have locks. But as an experienced railroader, I know these locks can be dealt with by other methods than a key. What convinced me that that CC had something to do with the derailment was his videos, and his uncanny timing. It is VERY rare to capture a derailment on camera. Yet here he is, catching a massive derailment. Meanwhile, other channels with loads of video don't have any derailment footage. Very odd.
Ik i did say negative stuff but now thinking about it we should not accuse someone if we dont know yes we can speculate him by him being there at the exact time but it could also be a coincidence and if you pay close attention just moments before the train passes you could hear heavy breathing which could raise concerns but idk time will tell hopefully it wasnt him and just a switch failure or something
You have a really good idea! He may have just been heavily breathing because he ran really fast to catch the train.
@@TheRailfanofTexas true hopefully he didn't do it
@@HyperLink_NotBlocked35 Same here!
He probably did, but the issue is these accusations are criminal and unless proved in court, he didn't do it so to speak. Edited a newspaper and you want to make sure you aren't saying it, police are saying. He probably wants to hide under a rock, but just be careful how you say it. So what was the chain of events??? I couldn't really tell.
Doesn't the railway have those switches locked to prevent unauthorized tampering?
Also- IF the camera person was the one to set this up, wouldn't he have positioned himself in a slightly better spot to get a clearer shot of what he was supposedly making happen? Seems a bit hokey to me.
I once stole a ballast stone it was like 2 feet from thr tracks
I'm pretty sure any railfan can steal a ballast stone easily, because of the millions that are on railways
He did derail the train
