@@SaffySprocket haha yeah that's our country , maybe a bit wet and windy at times but it is what makes it so amazing to see, the colours the views and the sheer vastness of how small we are in comparison and no one at times for miles 🙏❤️
You did right to follow your own route. Most people visiting the island get sent to the same places so you need advice from someone in the know. I moved to Skye permanently from Lancashire a few years ago - never looked back. Best motorcycling in the UK. I tend to get up VERY early in summer (like 4am) for sunrise and have all the roads to myself. Why they sent you to Lealt Falls I don't know. I always tell our guests not to bother with that or the Fairy Pools. The Trotternish Peninsula is a fantastic loop on a bike and also the road to Elgol as the busses don't go down there... But tbh all the roads are a great adventure! I'd always advise to wild camp (ideally away from the main road), and if you are into a bit of hiking the Skye is the limit... Happy riding!
Who needs sheep friends when you have made donkey friends who will always come to see you. Also the steely composure in the opening drone shot was epic, I expected it to crash into your head :) Throwing the map aside and riding wherever the mood takes you is just one of many reasons your so special Saffy 😘

Fantastic place for biking if you hit the weather right. I just came back yesterday and the weather was a nightmare the two days wind and rain and high winds in places, but still really enjoyed it. The scenery along the landscape from the bridge up to Staffin. On the way home I left Portree at 7am on a Saturday morning and didn't see another thing on the road until got to the bridge.

always thoroughly enjoy your commentaries, your dizziness is a great change from those who are serious all the while vlogging, how have got the GoPro on the top box wired in?
I put a GoPro mount on my Top box, I used a Lighter to melt the sticky mount to put it on. I have a 2m cable which you can occasionally see wrapped around my handlebars. When the battery starts to run out on my GoPro, the cable stretches far enough to charge it back up from the USB charger mounted on my handlebar. I also have a leg bag which I often put an external battery in and wire it up to, but I only do this is everything is starting to run out of charge, that way I can charge my phone, 2 GoPro's and my headset all at once whilst on the road. When I don't need to charge my cameras, I throw my battery packs in my top box with the drone on charge :D It sounds more complicated than it is, but I've gotten into quite a good rhythm with keeping everything charged now
Hey, beautiful scenery and camera work Saffy 😍 👌 I can't believe the Isle of Skye has a Jewson, I thought it was just an island of Puffins and Werewolves 😂 also, why were you whispering? Mad head 😂🤣
@@SaffySprocketHahaha, fair enough, I certainly wouldn't of been awake at 6am 😜 i might take my van to the Island for a couple weeks, it's so beautiful
Great video Saffy. Loved the cinematography at the beginning. I, like you, often wonder if tourist hot spots are just ways to fleece us of our money while we “oo” and “ah” at someone else’s definition of beauty. I much prefer to head off the beaten track, explore and find my own things to marvel at. You should consider switching your Red Bull for white Monster. It’s far superior IMO 😜
www.travel-monkey.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/SKYEMAP2015.jpg Here is a copy of the map, there are a few other places I visited as well that aren't on camera like Fairy Pools, I basically went anti-clockwise around the entire island - I stopped a lot on the attractions on the right-hand side, however by the time I got North-West I started to do my own thing until the Fairy pools
i love your videos, but i was wondering Saffy, what jacket have you got? My female friends is just starting to get into motorbikes and I'm looking to get her some gear when she passes her Direct Access. Have you got any recommendations?
I always go for LS2, cheap, good quality and affordable. I have the Nevada womens suit, it's an all year round suit with multiple layers you can remove in summer. It wasn't a cheap suit but I've already used it 6 months over winter abd the thing still looks brand new. I use a Gerbling heated jacket under my nevada suit :^)
My Nan used to tell me a story about the time she was chased by a sheep, she was in her late teens and liked lamb with mint sauce, so when the sheep came after her she shouted “mint sauce, MINT SAUCE” as she ran away thinking it would stop chasing her in case she ate it 😂
Properly epic Saffy. Great production, edit, biking, tunes and presentation. Also, you're a spit for Senua from Senua's Sacrifice. How's the bike coping?

I also have a leg bag which I often put an external battery in and wire it up to, but I only do this is everything is starting to run out of charge, that way I can charge my phone, 2 GoPro's and my headset all at once whilst on the road. When I don't need to charge my cameras, I throw my battery packs in my top box with the drone on charge :D It sounds more complicated than it is, but I've gotten into quite a good rhythm with keeping everything charged now
Any plans to head down to the South West Saffron??
Yes! Just not in the near future!
@@SaffySprocket see you at the Adventure bike festival then 👍
Hey, beautiful scenery and camera work Saffy 😍 👌 I can't believe the Isle of Skye has a Jewson, I thought it was just an island of Puffins and Werewolves 😂 also, why were you whispering? Mad head 😂🤣
It was 6am and there were people in a tent nearby sleeping :D I was trying to be considerate and/or slightly embarrassed to be YouTubing ahahaha
@@SaffySprocketHahaha, fair enough, I certainly wouldn't of been awake at 6am 😜 i might take my van to the Island for a couple weeks, it's so beautiful
Ahahaha yeh, you never know though, I hate being woken up then not being able to get back to sleep
@@SaffySprocket Yeah, my red wine alarm clock doesn't go off until after 9am 😂😜
Always, always make your own trail. It's literally why we ride.
I use to drink white monster, I loved that stuff, but after RedBull released their new black zero 🤤🤤🤤 nothing compares
@@SaffySprocket I might have to give it a go as I normally think Red Bull is 🤢
I don't like normal red bulls either, but RedBull Zero is so tasty 🤣

Great video, thanks
Thank you so much 💓 🥰
Nice one Saffy, yes you are fabulous, and those sheep know it:-)
Ahahaha I hope so
Hi saffy, love the channel. Can I ask what type of drone you use,
DJI Mavic Mini, under 149g so it just bypasses the drone regulations about registration and licence
Great video. The sheep didn't have a clue what you were saying. They only speak Gaelic. Keep up the good work.
I'll have to take a Gaelic course so I can ask the sheep for directions next time 🤣
A great vlog saffy stay safe and ride safe lovely greetings from st Helens Merseyside
Thank you so much :_ Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi saffy what is the cushion seat you have I want one for my bike. Great video by the way.
do you have a place where all the locations youve been on this route?
www.travel-monkey.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/SKYEMAP2015.jpg Here is a copy of the map, there are a few other places I visited as well that aren't on camera like Fairy Pools, I basically went anti-clockwise around the entire island - I stopped a lot on the attractions on the right-hand side, however by the time I got North-West I started to do my own thing until the Fairy pools
What phone. Case was that with the door that pops up in the beginning? At 1:15
Login’ the ASMR Saff intro 😅🙌
🤣🤣🤣🤣
New to the channel here loving your vids ❤️👍👌take care
Welcome to the mad House and thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@SaffySprocket haha I've a house just like yours then 😆
i love your videos, but i was wondering Saffy, what jacket have you got?
My female friends is just starting to get into motorbikes and I'm looking to get her some gear when she passes her Direct Access. Have you got any recommendations?
I always go for LS2, cheap, good quality and affordable. I have the Nevada womens suit, it's an all year round suit with multiple layers you can remove in summer. It wasn't a cheap suit but I've already used it 6 months over winter abd the thing still looks brand new. I use a Gerbling heated jacket under my nevada suit :^)
@@SaffySprocket thank you. I'll have a look at the stock 👍
Regarding your previous video, you could say your camping crip was *_temporarily STOPPED_* by *_BRAKE PROBLEMS._*
😊😊😊
My Nan used to tell me a story about the time she was chased by a sheep, she was in her late teens and liked lamb with mint sauce, so when the sheep came after her she shouted “mint sauce, MINT SAUCE” as she ran away thinking it would stop chasing her in case she ate it 😂
here ya go i have some grass hahahahahahaaha funny as,
great videos keep em coming.
Properly epic Saffy. Great production, edit, biking, tunes and presentation. Also, you're a spit for Senua from Senua's Sacrifice. How's the bike coping?
Hi Saffy, its wonderful and beautiful location. Wow, I'm in US do you have any plans to ride in US ?
