Nice videos, I plan on doing these trips in 2025 and filming the adventure.

Definitely do the trip and film your adventure. Totally worth it! The least - for good memories

LIKED and subd my friend. I am enjoying the diary format... :))) I hope you have kept the road footage for longer epi uploads as i love your colour eye.. i have begun to do longer epis which i edit to yu tube length.. But lately I am making hundreds of keyframe color balance changes as the light changes and posting the whole day.. maybe doing a short edit later for the younger generation with the Instagram attention span of 8seconds.. 🤓🎶🎚🎬📽 subtle use of bullet time and timelapse sweet :) but the speed ramping on the bealach na ba' was a mistake.. the views are astonishing and i am sure no one would have got bored of them , especially as your choice of music and the soundscape of a liitle engine noise and road noise was beautifully done .You took the time of clamping the action 4 for a low shot of the bike and road :) so more use of this Action would have been well worth the time spent in post :))

Thanks a lot for your detailed comment. I really appreciate the time and efforts you put in it. And I find good value in your advices.
It's always interesting to hear the opinion from someone else's perspective and get some feedback.
Video editing is a great hobby and I learn something new with each episode made. So such comments are a great help!
For the episode's duration, I try to keep videos at around 15 min (+/- few mins) as I guess otherwise viewer would get bored. I had much longer episodes from the Spain trip and... well... they are rather boring =]
Although I guess it depends on the format. I watched other people's videos longer than 30 minutes and it kept my attention all the way to the end of the videos. So longer videos are fine I guess as soon as there is enough content to share and it makes sense.

@madebyaction yes exactly.. When you are covering a known famous route it is the new viewers wanting to see the sweet twisty roads and scenery that will keep watching. Just speed merchants will be clicking through the so called boring bits. The key here is that your initial intro film had a big 118 view. So there was the interest.. The audience was loss of 2/3 when yu uploaded. A good indicator that the ytube algorithm had pushed your new series to established tour viewers and not just low attention adrenalin junkies.. But you are right. To grow the channel you have to please your self first and the algorithm will learn and push the attention to a targeted audience.. Longer vids are generally for 55 plus age. Who are well past their boy racer years. But these subscribe rs are faithful and can form a solid fan base. So you can drop in the adrenalin so called less boring edits later. Keep the faith my friend and enjoy the hours in editing. It is a creative and rewarding experience
