  • When you have views like this and peace and quiet to go with it...there is no going back after you experience life in the country.
I know it's been a while since the last update but we have some very exciting news coming soon and today I wanted to share a glimpse into what I've been up to lately at our new place.

I know many people have a short attention span on YT these days, but I could watch videos like this all day. Fall is a special time of year, especially in the woods. Soak up every moment out there.

Ryan, your videography talents just keep getting better. Someone else mentioned the calm demeanor in the narration. That and the music selection is refreshing. It’s always a pleasure to watch your content. Thank you for bringing us along.

I appreciate that you can recognize the simple beauty in all the things around; makes me feel less lonely in my midwestern suburban life where many people are more concerned about where to fly for their next vacation but fail to just enjoy what's right in front of them everyday. Glad to know there are people like you out there!

Your videography skills are top notch. I’m from rural Midwest Illinois and it’s easy to take all the scenery for granted after being around it everyday. However, watching your videos, you’ve got an amazing talent for highlighting all the natural beauty and making one realize how truly amazing it is all over again.

Grateful for the moment I discovered your channel. I grew up in the Midwest but am a die hard New Englander now. Still, scenes and moments such as the beginning of this video bring back memories of my childhood. My Dad and his six brothers were raised in Tennessee. He lived the woods and would go out with my Uncle Lindy in Michigan where they had moved, on the pretense of hunting. Lindy would get a deer, my Dad less often. As kids we loved being in that environment, I remember it with deep happiness. I understand the lure of raw land and you are approaching your tasks sensibly. I hope you will have a freezer (second to your main fridge) somewhere to stock up when weather limits your ability to go to the store. Also to have a generator (such as a Generac) as a necessity for backup power. I have lived in urban, city and country environments. What changed my feelings about living in the country was how the bats and black flies kept me indoors and limited my outdoor activities. In the country I lost two weeks of every year in the spring due to black flies. Trying to take a walk in the evenings became impossible due to dive bombing bats whom we weren’t certain if they had rabies or not. I hope with all my heart you are able to make a go of it, it would be a lovely spot
with your talent to get things done 😊👍
